Your mod added a lot of life to my game and added an element of risk that I've never felt before in x4. Thanks for all your work! Enjoyed it and good luck to you. When next you do come out with something, I'll be there to support you and check it out! o7

This is the first favorite mod of me since the release.
I'm still using this mod in v1.6 in spite of unestimated bugs.
I hope you will come back with other good mods.

Can someone who uses this mod with 1.6 please tewll us if it works at least in some degree? As vanilla AI is so so bad.

My destroyer turrets dont work anymore since 1.6...

@7ate I don't think I would be able to take over the mod (no time to learn the framework and update it myself with school), but rather than deleting the nexus page, you could always just hide it, that way if someone wanted to take up the mantle in the near future (before the AI gets TOO far gone from the current version), it's still there. I have thoroughly enjoyed the mod while I've used it!

I did just hide it since I saw that option, plus I am working on an AI overhaul that operates differently than the stock AI. It plays dirty, reacts to more situations, cheats a little for the poor npc's, etc. :pirat:

The new system seems workable in-sector for the moment, but does not yet handle orders to disable ships and I am still ironing out OOS combat flaws.

zombie thread I know but really, between the S****Y race relations and the S****Y station turret control, if somebody can't fix these GD turrets, that's a game breaker for me. I'm only posting here because I haven't found anything current that works.

god knows Egosoft isn't going to fix these things on their own any time soon.

This mod is now hidden on Nexusmods.

Can anyone send me a copy of it? Or link me to where I can still download it?

I don't care that it won't work for v4, I just want to see where the station AI code is, and how it was changed. I can figure out what I want once I find out where the code is.

Guess what I did recently? Yep, I cleared out all the old / no longer working mods from my mod folder. Sorry! Would love to see some work on the AI again. Best of luck on your search.

Hopefully someone else has it.

I keep everything when actively playing a game. Even the download files of mods I don't end up using.

Here's hoping someone else does the same, or the OP still has the download file.

I used to do the same, for years, but had a bit of a tidy-up of my X4 "stuff" folder... my timing usually sucks when it comes to any sort of clean-up, be it files on a PC or physical items I've kept for years then throw away, only for them to be needed soon after.
