Only seems to happen after placing a shipyard down as beforehand i was able to buy blueprints fine. I'm in the discord if it's easier to troubleshoot there, cheers.
argon_emperor wrote: Sat, 29. Dec 18, 15:21 Weapons, Engines, and Thrusters lists can't be expanded and bought, where before I could expand them and buy the blueprint for those modules just like Turrets, Shields and Missiles
leecarter wrote: Sat, 29. Dec 18, 15:38 Same thing here. Also, maybe you've already purchased them in you save, but if I expand modules the shipyard modules are missing. Does anyone know if they can still be found scanning stations in the latest version? I really really hate the whole scanning stations mini-game, but I'll do it for the shipyards.
cossackt wrote: Sat, 29. Dec 18, 18:45 I am experiencing the same. CTD when attempting to purchase any blueprints of any category.
Don't cheat blueprints using third party mods, this will corrupt your save and possibly cause the game to crash. even if you remove all other mods, your saves will never ever work again with POSP if you get blueprints via illegitimate ways. This is beyond my control and there's nothing I can do to fix it.
I cannot guarantee compatibility of POSP with any other extension that is not listed under the Addons section of the OP.

For those that haven't cheated in any shape or form or used any third party mod that could be affecting blueprints, please try removing ALL of your mods but POSP and see if you still have this problem.

Terrantoni wrote: Sat, 29. Dec 18, 18:14 Hey Carmaster, I am getting also CTD as soon the Shipyard is build and i try to buy a license, no matter what kind of License
Any Idea which mod causes the problem? Thanks for that great mod, just need to get it working. Win 7 and latest Version game and mod
I dont't support Windows 7 and neither does Microsoft anymore, upgrade.

I didn't cheat the blueprints in however I am using windows 7, so if you say you don't support it that is fine I will just use the workaround, thanks!

No build module blueprints were available for purchase from any of these reps even with the licenses. None were even listed. They weren't greyed out, they just weren't there.

Also, I do see ship blueprints for ships, but not for the build modules. I've spent hours trying to get this to work. It just doesn't work.

Scanning signal leaks at modules also doesn't work. Even with EMPs, it doesn't work. I've done dozens of scans. Every time, all I get is trade subscriptions or trade partner status.

My files are installed in the root of the game install.

Not sure what to try next. Was hoping to use your mod.
I will need the following information:
Debug log

Save
https://1drv.ms/u/s!Aq9L7q_Ui2CgiCOS43BxGTV09Oxd

Using Windows 10
Carmaster, did you have a chance to check out my save and debug log?

Seems Not to be a Problem of the os, i Upgraded from 7 to 10 without a effect, still getting ctd. Dont know where the Problem with buying licenses is, since its Not a Problem Till the Player shipyard is build. You could Upgrade to win10 for free if your Hardware is Good enough.

I used the Workaround, but After a while the saves got corrupted and unloadable. Keep backups

What OS are you running and what EXACT version of POSP are you using?
Windows 10 Pro, and v1.24 of PSOP (literally just redownloaded latest version after you said to test again with no other mods than POSP)
Did you install the mod on the extensions folder of the game's root folder?
I cannot reproduce the issue you're having, it works perfectly fine for me with the same setup.
Well, even a full reinstall didn't help, so I'm out of ideas. Oh well, it's clearly on my end somewhere, seeing as it didn't have an issue on your side, I've just got no idea what's causing it :S

Did you delete the Game Files in the user documents path after deinstallation? If there is something leftover than a reinstall doesn´t help, deinstall it and kill the whole x4 folder at user->mydocuments->steam->Egosoft->X4-> there is a save folder and some more files. If you did this than just ignore what i said.

Amen brother! Though I have none of these issues with putting any mod in my game dir/ext folder, new assets or not, packed or unpacked, it's not a win 7 thing as I can run any mod no matter what it does or adds in my main game/extension folder so not sure where/why that rumor started? Maybe cause I have allot of programmer extensions installed, or all versions of all vcredist installed or what, I use Win 7 x64 pro and have no issues at all with any mod ever, unless its broken in some way (the mod that is) Ive never installed any mods in my documents folder, who ever started that rumor should be shot.

Oh, I deleted that too. And all the unpacked files from the .cat files. Nothing X4 was left. Then reinstalled, plopped in POSP, started new game, flew to the fac rep, and still have the same issue. I just wish I knew *what* I was doing wrong with it, it used to work fine

Same here, all other mods did their work under win 7, only this mod is proofing patience^^ on the other side, I think other mods are not as complicated as this here seems to be. Hard Choice, leaving a lot of other mods out of the game which should have been in there by release cause otherwise this game is still a pain in many views or disabling nearly everything to just use this pearl  I took about a week to try isolating the interrupting mod without success, nothing seemed to work with licenses on the first view so i was not able to find the crashing mod but hell what do i know, i can´t even read codes. So i am thankfull that the modders try to help where they can or even to provide their mods which they could have used for their own and prevent this mocking noobs as I am :D

I really wanted to use this cause it also should have been in the game... Really sad.

I will investigate further with the saves/logs you guys have sent me but so far, it seems to work fine for me, even when loading your saves it works as expected.

Then the code might be different. Try re-uploading the mod again, maybe something got missed or not saved. God knows I've done it enough.

Yeah sounds like something on carmaster's PC is different so it works.

Edit:
I tried a complete uninstall/reinstall of the game and a new game save with no other mods and I still can't see build module blueprints at faction reps. They aren't listed at all. So pretty sure it is not my PC or my configuration. Also I can't see Weapons, Engines, or Thruster blueprints either. None are listed. Ship and missile blueprints are listed.

:!: Please help :!:

Dear Carmaster,

unfortunately I can´t load any save game I have, after I used POSP.
It always crashes when loading the save game at 65% loading progress regardless what different save game file I try to load.

I also noticed something very creepy, my last working save game file is 45 MB and all newer ones only have 36 MB. Did it corrupt the save game files?

Or is it a problem you can solve?

Here I want to provide you the corresponding save games:

https://www.dropbox.com/sh/2njk35b0zfw3 ... Z5SBa?dl=0
(the Dropbox upload still needs a few minutes)

What I tried:
- Windows restart
- Deactivation of all other mods I use

System:
- WIN 10 with newest updates
- GTX 1060 with newst driver

:!: Please help :!:

Oh that's odd, with Windows 7 I do have to install it into the documents ext folder in order to get it to work. Not sure what causes this, some mods only work (and in all other cases work exactly as intended) if installed in documents instead of the root folder. Would love to know what causes this so I can move them all over to the main folder but I haven't been able to figure it out so far.

The uploaded version is exactly the same I am using and it works fine for me and for all the people I've asked to test on the official Egosoft Discord. This issue seems to only affect a few people.
Are you guys using 1.5 NON BETA?

1.5 beta here. Is there any difference? I haven't seen any Steam updates since 1.5 went live.

Edit: I just opted out of the beta and steam didn't download or change anything. I'll load up a save and see if it makes any difference.
