You only use one pack, it would be rather hard to actually show the conflict since it's either you have the wrong cockpit or you don't have colored engines, if I have higher priority of the cockpit mod, I get the Eclipse cockpit, but engines are normal blue with black smoke, if I have higher priority of the engine mod, I get colored engines and trails, but some cockpits aren't what they should be.

ok i see better the problem now
I dont know how to fix that for the moment i need to check all the files and its a big problem because there are much files but there is a solution its sure
I will see tomorrow about this problem

EDIT: TrencendII, ParticuleTrails are 100% compatible together ?
or u use only Trails mod ?

I haven't played with the Transcend mod, I'm only using Pack A.

TrancendII, particle trails work together if you use the correct version of the particle trails mod.

The reason why these 2 mods don't work is down to tships. We both edit it.

types\TShips.pck

@Commander Zane:
dl X3editor and x3modManager
and check those files

u must create a "mixed" TShips, easy but long to do

Hmmm, I installed this mod and it worked for a hot minute. I uninstalled it to check shawn's cockpit mod

and now I cannot get PSCO1_CockpitMod to work again??!!
Any ideas on what might be wrong? Im new to the x games but not to installing mods...

I've switched back and forth without any problems, as I compared them. You need to make sure you don't mix the cat and dat files between the two, and either hyperjump or go to a different sector so that the new cockpit scenes will load.

Shawn's mod has cat and dat files for the main directory right?
And the other mod only has files for the mod folder ....

No. Rename the mod files to the last cat and dat numbers, put them in the main directory, start cycrow's plug in manager to create its cat and dat numbers, and it should work. You don't have to put them in the mod folder, use it as a false patch

Oh, and while I'm here, a quick question. I was wondering if it is possible to have the Sector Map rather than the incoming pilot communication video on the second cockpit monitor?

Possible and it is a very good idea but my scripting skills are zero
and i dont really know how to do in fact.. :(

Just changing the texure code of the GUI is easy to do

edit: but .. i will try :D

Ive checked if it was fonctionnal and its not..

Yep, that's the one. I was thinking of being able to spot enemies while on patrol without having to constantly switch back to the map page, so detail wouldn't be an issue. If I need detail, then I could call up the bigger map.
