Same thing here. Also, maybe you've already purchased them in you save, but if I expand modules the shipyard modules are missing. Does anyone know if they can still be found scanning stations in the latest version? I really really hate the whole scanning stations mini-game, but I'll do it for the shipyards.

I haven't bought any, but the build modules aren't in my list (haven't got anywhere near enough money for the licenses :P ), but I have successfully scanned in a L Fabrication Bay module in this save, so you *should* still be able to scan them

Have you used any kind of cheating or save editting to grant yourself blueprints without going through the normal process of buying them or getting them from scanning data leaks?
I've found that both the CAS starts with blueprints and the cheat menu mod crash the game when purchasing blueprints due to the way they unlock them. The game crashes because you already know that blueprint but the Lua state for some reason becomes detached from the game state and returns that you do not actually know the blueprint. Attempting to perform LearnBlueprint(string wareid) on an already learnt blueprint crashes the game.
Hey Carmaster, I am getting also CTD as soon the Shipyard is build and i try to buy a license, no matter what kind of License
Any Idea which mod causes the problem? Thanks for that great mod, just need to get it working. Win 7 and latest Version game and mod

I am experiencing the same. CTD when attempting to purchase any blueprints of any category.

before the Shipyard is build the buying is working smooth, if i dont buy licenses after building the yard than i can use it as mentioned but as soon i am up tu buy a license badaboom :lol:

I've found if you remove the shipyards you can then purchase blueprints again, then you can replace the shipyards and it works as intended.

So I've spent a few hours scanning docks and warfs all over the place and no fabrication blueprints to be found. Although there is a clearance sale at the Teladi warf if anyone is interested.

Just to reiterate because I know this thread moves fast and all the names look the same:
* I have researched the build modules techs
* I have all the licenses
* I've been able to buy ship blueprints with no problems
* Previously (another mod version, same save) I saw the fabrication blueprints for sale by the reps, now they are simply gone
* Previously (another mod version, same save) I could open the weapons and ship equipment blueprints and browse the items, now they are disabled

Since these missing blueprints have been reported by multiple users in this thread I doubt it's related to my save of anything in debug log. I'm assuming people who are using the ship yard successfully now probably got the blueprints it in a previous version of the mod. I would ask them, if they don't mind spending a little time helping the mod maker out, to make a new save, research the techs, and then see if the fabrication modules are available in your new game.

If you can get it figured out, that's cool. If not, no biggie. I know this has got to be an absolute pain in the A$$ to figure out and work on all for free, and we all appreciate it even if some people might act like they owe you something. I've been down the modding road a few times in other games, it can be frustrating but also rewarding when it works and people like it. You've accomplished something pretty friggen cool here, kudos!

Edit: I've pulled all my other mods out and resaved. Still seeing:

I bought pretty much everything from him, which is why there are so few modules and ships left showing.

Yes you are right, but it is a annoying workaround xD I hope Carmaster has a Idea where the Problem is.
If anybody needs a for free upgrade to Windows 10, have a look for the Windows Update Assistent, if you have a Windoes 7 pro Version running you get updated to Windows 10 Pro, Win 7 Home gets upgrade to Win 10 Home.

Don't cheat blueprints using third party mods, this will corrupt your save and possibly cause the game to crash. even if you remove all other mods, your saves will never ever work again with POSP if you get blueprints via illegitimate ways. This is beyond my control and there's nothing I can do to fix it.
I cannot guarantee compatibility of POSP with any other extension that is not listed under the Addons section of the OP.

For those that haven't cheated in any shape or form or used any third party mod that could be affecting blueprints, please try removing ALL of your mods but POSP and see if you still have this problem.

I dont't support Windows 7 and neither does Microsoft anymore, upgrade.

Since I upgraded to Win 10 meanwhile and still get crashes even after disabling all other mods, just leaving POSP and Mobile Ship Production, I am going to start a fourth new game :roll: .
Couldn´t find a overview which mods are runnig with POSP, tatertrade, sectorsatelites and Signalleakhunter safe for use? What kind of mods have you running with POSP?

Or can anybody who does not have Problems with this mod please post a lil Overview which mods you are running?

I only use my own mods when playing so I cannot really tell you which mod is causing it.
When reporting CTD bugs, please make sure it's on a fresh save game with no other mods than POSP.

Ok thank you for the fast Response, I try it with a fresh game. Was hoping that those Elementary Mods could fit with POSP, maybe somebody else had a succesful try and can confirm it, till then i keep the fresh game only with your 2 mods running and hope it works out.

Windows 10 Pro, and v1.24 of PSOP (literally just redownloaded latest version after you said to test again with no other mods than POSP)

Did you install the mod on the extensions folder of the game's root folder?
I cannot reproduce the issue you're having, it works perfectly fine for me with the same setup.

Yep, extensions folder in root directory.

Then, I guess it's something I'm doing somehow then, that's... Weird. Might try a full reinstall of X4 then, guess that's about the only thing left. Thanks for checking on it though :)
