I've had metro 2033 for ages and still haven't completed it, I am not good with scary games I can only play about half an hour at a time.

Get some friends, a 50"-TV-Screen, an XBox 360 controller and a high quality sound system (plus good Computer) and make some Sandwiches for the night.
And do what Tamina suggested (without headphones).
Everybody of my friends brought a part (one brought sandwiches, the other one his high end computer and the last one a controller...) and it was a highly funny evening.

I wouldn't consider this game as "good". However with this constellation and Taminas setting(s) it was so amazingly fun to run around only with a knife equipt, because ammunition is also money in this game to buy stuff and really hard to get in Ranger mode that I would say this game is really great.

But alone in the dark should give you some creeps to, at daytime it is just an ordinary shooter.

That sounds like great fun, I might have to persuade one of my friends to do it round his as he has basically got this set-up anyway!

I grabbed metro 2033 and played it the other night.
I don't find it scary, so much as annoying in certain spots which are purely combat related.

Example: goin through the abandoned Curse (I think) station, there's a bunch of rats coming impossibly fast from a bunch of holes, then constantly leaping at ya.
In the larger, area this is really no problem... you strafe
In one corridor near the end, when you have the kid on your back, you get rushed by four of them at once, in a linear hallway, with no where to go.

It doesn't help that half the time I shoot the top of them, the bullet misses or does no noticeable damage.
Oddly, shooting them once in the leg kills them.

If you scroll down just past the Mount & Blade free deal, there is also a deal to get The Witcher 2 + The Gamers: Director’s Cut for free too. Though you do have to visit the site every day for the week to get it, just click on that + sign.

Thanks you very much <3

For The Witcher 2 you have to log in to GoG until November 25 and collect 7 stamps (I think it is one stamp per day).
