I checked that the new plots started. You don't get a message or anything, you need to accept a mission from either of the two starting stations I think - like the corporation plots in TC.

the trading station in Freedoms Reach or Strong Arms HQ (there will be two plots there - the new plot and the ported TC corporation plot so make sure you pick there right one.
It takes a random amount of time between one and two hours after your split rank gets high enough for the missions to appear.

I was having the same issue, let me make sure I've got this right:

-Shady business plot = max rank with split and operation loose ends completed. Get the mission from Strong Arms HQ
-Corporate Troubles = complete loose ends and get mission from the trading station in freedom's reach
-Breaking Ground triggers during Corporate Troubles.

Thanks for the help, I've spent the past couple hours trying to find these plots. I have gone to the places listed above and I got offers from Strong Arms including the Fui'ktt guy who had me run two low level missions. When I say that, I mean that I am not getting a blue plot marker in the chat window. Also, nothing's popping up for Corporate Troubles.

I don't know if this is important, but when I deployed my HQ, the name is Orbital [17,6161].

I went and started a new game with the "advanced start" which is supposed to flag all plots as complete. However, I was offered operation loose ends which leads me to believe there is an issue in registering plot completion. Any advice?

Did you get the missions to trigger? If so what did you do and what did they look like? I can only get generic missions from Strong Arms and I suspect I might need to do a new install...

Nah: same as you the only missions available at Strong Arms HQ are the corp missions from TC.

JEAH! After mere SIX re-installs of X3 and XRM it finaly works, and i have no idea what i did different but no more "placeholder-ship-names" and i can see the new ships being sold. Sweet.

I wonder what it could be. I am going to do a fresh install of everything and see what happens. I will only use XRM, a hud, and the cheat package and see if that changes anything. I mean, I already did a fresh install before so I am a bit confused as to why it isn't working. Might be a problem with the MD or something. Has anyone else successfully ran the plots on XRM? If so, how did you find them and what did you do to get them?

Also, if you activated the plots, did you do the Boron version of the Hub quest? It seems like the two of us did Loose Ends and that could be the issue...

This mod seems great. I wonder what would happen if you made a map with 4 of these corps in it and let them battle it out. You could possibly get something like a total war game, but in space.

are hub and hq plots equal to loose ends regerding these plot start conditions?

Litcube, where do I put the al.LitQB.PhanCorp.SetRelations.xml file so Phan corp has to deal with xenon, pirates, and Kha'ak like the player does?

Also if I use that feature will it significantly reduce there ability to grow or will they know to protect there traders better?

Paul I have just noticed that none of the new missions that came with 3.0 are available anywhere, is this on purpose, should they be or have I installed something wrong? I'd like to do a tourist mission tbh.

i just finished downloading and installing this..........no one is talking im just getting text at the bottom??? anyway to make the people actually talk again?

there should be pop up messages to inform you that you can take the mission. Did you remove these Paul? If not, it might be an issue with the plot completion flag or something like that. It could be due to the fact that the base plot is unplayable due to the war changes.

I did a fresh install, nothing else other than the cheat package, and blitzed operation loose ends. I waited for 4 in game hours, but still nothing. I do get two identical offers for missions at Strong Arms HQ, but these are the corp missions from X3TC rather than a plot. However, a blank spot did appear in the chat window, just a dash where the name could be. Hope that helps.

1) I don't remember. Isn't it an overwrite of an existing file?

put it on the scripts folder and substitute the archrive normally

i think ive done something wrong!!!!!!

i followed the steps and copied the files it told me into the locations it told me. i didnt run the plugin manager because i dont have one and it said (if installed)

when i stated the game i gat the message that it was installed but when i tryed to comm with a ship there was no sound. also it said buying stations was moved away from the shipyards to somewhere else but when i dock at the shipyard in Omicron lyrae stations are still for sell

well found MOST of my problem i followed the instruction exactly and never moved the .dat files over :lol:

but if i click info on some of the ships in the sector like the venti for example i get no talking about it, should i?
