But seriously, any idea when it might become available? It has been a while and I don't believe it takes that long to sign a bunch of scripts...Nanook wrote:The Bonus Pack is a totally separate item. It will not be included in the patch.

This is probably not the right thread to be asking such questions, it is rather off topic. There are other threads better suitedkurush wrote:But seriously, any idea when it might become available? It's fairly pointless asking such a question anyway, because you won't get an answer...as soon as there's any news about the Bonus Pack you can be assured it'll be up in lights on the forum! As for it only being a process of signing a few scripts, you do realise that all those scripts have to be thoroughly tested to make sure they work both independently and when all installed together? Egosoft isn't going to just slap a signature on an untested script and say "Job done, let's go to the pub now".

The mission was the second hand ship selling offer, and yes, it is still in 2.5. It even has a few minor improvements.Gavrushka wrote:Do we know if the mission category that caused the memory leak will be working in 2.5, or is this scheduled to be reintroduced in a later patch?

I thought we was getting some more missions in this upgrade!!!!!!

It aint in the release notes so no... something like that would be quite high on the advertising list if it was going to happen.AjRyder wrote:Are we??? I am just delighted 2nd hand ship missions will be back in and with a few minor improvements to boot, it has been the backbone of my play style (and thus my undoing too when the memory leak proliferated like Tribbles on a starship) and I've bemoaned paying list price for ships.
Oh and with a few minor improvements to boot... Woohoo!

For you maybe... not for me, mind you I did not do a clean start in 2.1.Gavrushka wrote:They were in 2.1 yes, and now they'll be in the offocial release of 2.5 .
What happened between is just far too difficult for me to talk about... I am still traumatised.

You could always join the L3+ Beta Team and find outtanner1ie wrote:Any idea what the hold up with the patch is?
Bug? - This thread is nearly a month old.

There are a number of bug reports on the go at the momment but I do not know which are being targeted as critical for 2.5.

Any new content must be throughly tested. And as mentioned before boarding is getting rebalanced. Everyone's idea of 'balanced' is highly subjective, and the developers are in a tight spot to deliver improvements that -most- players will enjoy.
If it weren't for the FLAK bug fix, I doubt I would patch to 2.5. While the improvements to the UI already mentioned are enticing, I recommend keeping your old 2.1 save files backed up just in case.

I am level 3, but when i looked on the Beta Testing forum, i didn't see a thread saying - "ok, guys and girls, here's what we need to fix", just many different bug related threads.Roger L.S. I didn't read through them all to see which add been fixed and which are critical, however.
And to eldyranx3, i doubt there's any need to back up your old saves as the patches are always backward compatible, with previous patches and saves.

I know XS and CBJ have said numerous times "it'll be ready when it's ready", in different threads throughout that forum. Perhaps you could simply search on their posts next time and review what they are saying. Given that they aren't charging for the 2.5 patch, and it includes new stuff, they have every right not to keep us updated, nor to set a timeline.tanner1ie wrote:I am level 3, but when i looked on the Beta Testing forum, i didn't see a thread saying - "ok, guys and girls, here's what we need to fix", just many different bug related threads.
