The current version is the full one. The only reason it's called "beta" is so that a wider audience may provide exposure beyond the extensive beta team over lengthy testing could provide. With the standard default mod download plus the additional download options you will have this very wonderful huge mod combination.

Further releases will likely continue indefinitely as the Fusion Project is be nature an evolutionary community contributed mod. :)
Oh ok. I'll install it now then (meaning: once I get the chance). After that I just gotta find the time to play it :) . I really lazy y'know.

These was fixed in .2 I beleive. But, they were changed in the galaxy map, therefore saves of .1 wont have those resources placed corectly.

I've downloaded v0.2, but I can't say if it works now (with the transporter).
I'm german and I have the german version of the game so I changed the text ID's of the 3 t-files in the xfp0.2nocockpit.cat to 49......pck using the modmanager.

Now I can start the game itself, but that's all. Starting as "Unknown Argon" leads to CTD :evil:

Untouched cat works perfectly...

Waiting for working german download now ....

Unfortunally it's not that easy just changing the file name but the german translation is still in progress and it will be ready soon.

You can always check the XFP forum to see the progress:

I changed the filename AND the ID inside the file, so I should have worked fine, but it didn't.... :evil:

If there is help needed for german translation, just tell me, I have a lot of time.....

Hi Starbuster, the German version is almost completed. I am waiting for the last text file to be sent so I can release it on our new German page. I am hoping this will be within the next week as it is the larget text file of them all.

With the last text file it will mean that the XFP rar will run in 49 language text for German for everything in the mod. It will not cover the optional script pack though, but I do believe many of the popular scripts are in german anyway. The reason for just focusing on the XFP texts is so we can release it earlier after many requests for the main text conversions.

The XFP does not change the original interface at all. The optional download for the GUI is not part of XFP, only an optional extra made by someone else.

If you install only the XFP as it was created from the rar, you will have the original interface and the best XFP playing experience for your game. :)

Hi leloa, check the readme included where it says to rename it to the next number in the cat series. If you renamed the included cat fro mthe rar to 07.cat and 07.dat, then you just need to remove it from your X3 Reunion folder. The number you renamed it to really depends on what version of X3 you have. It will be the highest number in any case.

The Galaxy Transporter should be fixed in .2 :)

Many t-files had corrections in the latest versions. These can be as small as spelling. :wink:[/quote]

Moon Base

Grrrr!!!

Ok, I'm pretty sure I remember seeing on the Xperement boards that you can enter the Moon Base somewhere. I've spent probably 4-5 hours flying around the stupid thing looking for the way in, but it mocks me by not showing up! I even tried a Jump to Position inside it, but it pushed me out somehow...
Is there a way in? Can anyone give me a hint or something as to where it might be? Send me a PM or put it in spoiler tags or something...it's driving me nutz!

The moonbase no longer has an internal cavern. This by suggestion that it was too difficult to find, and that it currently served no significant purpose. What you have is the gate leading to Earth on the surface. :)

There's only one t-file missing?
That's perfect, so I can speed up the german version release because I'm translating it at the moment...

Freaky001 sent it to me after I wrote him at egosoft forum that I can help with this....

I dont use the GUI mod, but I use the HUD reduction MOD that removes all the boxes & changes the lead cross..
Very nice this mod & that one together..


I got to say im pretty far into this mod & its nice.. esp with some of those optional scripts..

Ah, wasting time...I love it!

The hardest part is figuring out where the gate to ToL is...
