From my personal experience:
M6: 80-140
TL: 250-600
M1: 700-1300
M2: 900-1700
Khaak/Xenon ships inherantly require more.
Like I said, this is from my own personal experience. Sometimes I can get an M6 using only 80-90 MPs, other times it's 110-140. TL's seem to average around 350, M2s around the 800 mark, etc.

When betatesting HATv1.2b last Summer as an Imperial Slave, I found that the given range required in mp's per target shipclass was roughly 20% higher than the listed range. So if you want to play it safe, make sure you've got 120% of the maximum mp's required for your mark.
I was going to try HAT'ng a Hyperion (M7) last night to see if it could be done..but got distracted. So I'll try again tonight.
In any case, if it is possible to HAT an M7 with the existing code (using the M6 parameters?), then some new M7-specific code will need to be worked up to keep HAT from being too easy on that class. As an Imperial Script, we don't want HAT to get a reputation of being easy.

I was going to keep it under wraps... But I was actually adding in M7 compatibility... I was also working on enhanceing it a touch to do stations.


(Im currently using a range of 1500 - 2000 MP's which would result to 1499 - 7999 MP's used to capture a station. Keep in mind MP's are L cargo and take up 3 cargo units. Which means a single M1/M2 couldnt cap a station without a TL supplier or another M1/M2 to transfer the rest of the MP's or even multiple... Yes, that means you would aslo have to sit there a very long time and fight ANYTHING that may come your way!

But, I was really just doing it to see if I COULD do it.

capping stations is a bad idea and here is why. There is no inharent station defence in the game so it would be like shooting fish in a barrel. Ships at least are understandable becuse you have to worry about the turrets but with stations you can just fly up and cap it with no personal threat to you. SO its a lame idea for people who just want to cheat.
ALSO you should make is so the AI can CAP your stuff as well to make it more fair.

There should be a military barracks (Betty says "weapon component factory") in Bala Gi's Joy. That's where you buy military personel. Just make sure you have a cargo life support installed on your ship when buying them.

it can cap odins but you need to wait for HAT REDUX for stations whic is 2/3 on my todo list after ALC

It seems each time the script it's activated, it creates a new barrack station. I have 7 in the same positions. When I travel to the sector, they start crashing against each other (i usually leave before something happens).
Can you check for the presence of a military barracks before creating a new one?
