x3 started crashing all of a sudden. Any tips?

I have EXACTLY the same problem - after first using salvage insurance X3 started hanging when I try to save or load game... when I hit alt+tab, can see loading screen, but game stop responding. Looks like si corrupted smthg.

I still can load game from time to time, doing it second time in row hangs game almost certainty.

My saves are ok at the moment, but going off past experience (X2) i'll prob be getting this issue shortly. I'm mothballing X3 until the 1.3 patch cos i cant be doing with all my savegames corrupting in X3. :(
