The news from Egosoft on Sunday and now this from Deepsilver.

Good news and a great job to all involved. :D

Just visited the Deepsilver website and they are showing a basic spec needed to run this game.

according to gamestop in the USA - stores will have them available for sale at Noon umm. today 18-OCT-2005

I preordered mine.

Is there truth to this, I'll let you know when I come home with the box in my hand..

IF of course I can do that tommrow afternoon.

I have mine on preorder from play.com - but www.Tesco.com is showing it as available from the 21st of October... I thought it was from US perhaps, so missing *cough cough* something that maybe on the Euro release, but it shows a Deep Silver logo on it :(

Anyone in UK wishing to try getting it as early as our US counterparts could try that if they wish;

I think we need to clear this up the UK release date is 28th October, the UK date has been confirmed as the first release of x3. The german release will not be soon after and I would expect the US release to be the a few days to a week after.
A word to the wise ain't necessary -- it's the stupid ones that need the advice

Amazon.co.uk also have it listed as 21/10/05

However I'm more inclined to believe that they are old release dates that havn't been updated. I'm gonna stick with Gameplay unless anyone reports getting their uk copy earlier. They always deliver one day before release and are 100% reliable.

Play.com seems reasonable enough at £24.99 delivered. Only used them once or twice but have found them excellent.

I took a trip to my local games shop in town, here in Scotland. As were talking about the sheer look of the game he gets an email containing this weeks releases for the distributors. X3 was not on it.

I've preordered from Play.com ages ago, sorry EGO. Down as a 28th release as the man says.

Really glad I put in that 6600GT now.. Can't Wait.. :D
