If you're disagreeing with the immediate above post about polycounts, and calling it drivel, I would point out that Galaxy613 made the initial call.
And as G613 is an experienced modder for X2, he's more qualified to make the call than anyone else here asside from me. (Though I only dabble in the model department.) So I would suggest against such arguments for you own sake.

However, if you are reffering to the discussion about the popularity, I wouldn't try to persue that out of suggestion of keeping the flame wars from erupting. Yes, it's a good show... though in my personal oppinion the ship is ugly as sin and could use some streamlining of the hull structure for atmospheric aerodynamics purposes. (But at least it looks like it can fly, unlike some Sci Fi models I've seen.)

Oh god not another one... there is already a ton of threads for this idea floating around here lol and besides only a few people like the show so it's not enough to motivate any modders to make the ship for x2.

I had a thought, if you are serious about getting a firefly into x2, then why not contact Deadly in the X3 forums and ask him to make one for X2? All you need is the model done there are others(myself in cluded) that can manage a X2 Editor and put one in a mod for you. But makeing the model is out of my league.
