Yeh have been doing that for a while. Am doing it right now whilst browsing the forum. Although, I am weighting for the factory to build it's stock to maximum so I can swipe the lot and lay them in sectors.nobbystyles wrote:do you just sit in 1 sector with seta on full?

Hi. Well, am selling them off at max price from the factory. So, any that I don't use, I shal deposit back in the factory to be sold. Better to do that, because otherwise, if you were to take the remainder to a station, all you would get is a meesally average price sale and that's not good for profit. This way you would make a great deal more. Oh for a night of sat laying! Don't mind really, because I will have my Quantom Tube Fab, Crystal Fab, Stot Mixery and Rimes Fact selling everything whilst doing it. And they have full suport factories, so they are all getting their resources at min price and selling their produced goods at max! Can't loos!

Oh yes! I understand what you are saying now. Well probably yes it would be better to do that, but I can'tt be bothered to trapes round the universe looking for nav sats. So while am on hear, thought would let them build up.nobbystyles wrote:what i meant to say was. instead of removing your nav sats form your factory to lay thm. would it not be best to leave them in your factory to be sold at maz price while you buy the nav sats form a trading station. is that clearer?

Yes getting everything to work so it'ss all self sufficient is an achievement isn't. But you have to start out with that in mind don't you if it's going to work.silentWitness wrote:It's just something I tried on the long nights... If you have infinate funds and are fed up of decimating the Xenon and pirates... So I build a self sufficent Empire... all I needed was a Ship yard, Trading and Equipment Dock...

factories... what fun... I have at least 5 in every Split sector & at least 3 in every Paranid... Boron? What Borons... ? they have been exterminated like the filth they are! I think I have about 300 facs now, including 2 125Mw shield facs I set up before I eliminated the opposition... I have several lasertower & navstat facs, all with supporting facs & all make good money except in Family Njy where I have to keep something to haul them out as they do not get bought... (but that's only lasertowers) I think I have more teladi facs than anything else, followed by Paranid & Split... although there's not much in it... Incidentally I've not got a single factory in Argon space... never forgave them for not letting the combined Split/Paranid force wipe out the Borons in the previous war!
