Maybe it's easier to build a "reset universe" feature - if the goal is to revive the sandbox from a "dead state":
  • Reset plots (multi-select)
  • Reset research (multi-select, adhering dependencies)
  • Reset blueprints (maybe sell blueprints as an alternative? :idea: )
  • Reset faction relations [towards player]
  • Reset factions (multi-select which one; strenght slider to overtune their initial presence for spicing up things - or give them a fighting chance)
    • Reset factions military ships only
    • Reset factions civil ships only
    • Reset factions shipyard/equipment dock/wharf/other main building only
  • Nuke all player assets
    • In specific sector
    • Only civil ships
    • Only military ships
  • Nuke player (just for the fun of it :P )
While this of course crosses the "Fourth wall" it could be decorated with some proper scenery. Your chance to introduce a Sohnen outpost Egosoft! :mrgreen:
