I use mostly kinetic weapons for my own smaller ships and when having more than one weapons Slot, I also use a Missile Launcher.
In Capital ships I Like the terran Destroyer gun the most.

As of Missiles i really enjoy the increased Droprates of them.
I like to use ungiuded missiles on my fighters as they are manouverable enough to get some missiles to hit in a row. I mainly Focus in light dumbfire missiles to be prepared against enemy s and m ships and heavy Cluster missiles in Case I have to prevents some damage from Xenon Capitals.

On medium ships i use Tracking Launchers with any non swarm missiles in light and heavy variant. (My favorites are Starbursts)

On Capital ships i try to use some Missile turrets (but only the M ones as I don't think L are viable with their benefit for occupyimg a big Slot), Most of the time i use heavy swarm missiles on those but sometimes also heavy dumbfire ones.

As you can Imagine, I really Like using missiles and I enjoy their ecplosion visuals and sounds.

I like Pulse Laser on S/M ships and Ion Gatling together with Phase Gun on Boron Fighters.

Later i tend to use a Destroyer fleet with lots of M-Dumpfire Turrets
