Apologies for coming back around to this but I had a question for you for troubleshooting purposes. The behavior is almost impossible to repro on demand because of the random nature of police scanning but what I could do is immediately after it occurs I could drop a save and provide that. Would that be helpful? At minimum you would see the police interdiction that occurred to make them hostile, the reputation hit, and the lack of illegal cargo. Not sure if the saves contain adequate logging or not but its the best I can do in terms of showing the possible bug. Thanks as always!

No need to apologise. This is unresolved and any extra input is valuable.
A save shortly after it happens would be great, but what would be even better would be two saves, one before and one after. I realise that's tricky to do, but if it's happening quite frequently for you then by saving regularly you may have be able to capture it.

As for a save immediately before, as stated previously I unfortunately cannot repro the issue on demand. It happens seemingly at random so I can only catch it right after it happens. When I pull a save from a couple minutes before the issue it doesn't happen again with the same trader and police. The issue happens anywhere from every 15 min to a couple times a day so impossible to see coming.

I can confirm I'm experiencing this bug as well. It's extremely rare and this is the first time in thosands of hours have I noticed it. It could of happened before and I dismissed it but this time it hit in astroid belt . Had all the terrans attacking my stations and traders and miners from 4 different money making stations. It was brutal and a wall of red. Only notification I got was contraband found and then boom entire sector is red while I was at heretics end oos. My game is heavily modified so a save is probably not usefulCBJ wrote: ↑Tue, 13. Aug 24, 19:26 No need to apologise. This is unresolved and any extra input is valuable.
