Okay, the £9,99 item was german version. I could probably buy this off an online store instead, but how messed up will it be? I don't speak german too good, but there's a way to convert it, right? Will you be able to convert the whole game, both XT and XBTF? Sorry about the annoyance :P

if you are still interested in ebay try the number 3011835711. it is defo an english version at £10 with about 3 days to go

The in-game text can be changed to a number of languages via command line options when running the game. The nice guys at Egosoft produced a patch that will allow you to replace the German sound file with the English one. Both the patch and the sound file will be available for download one the severs are back to normal. The sound file is big so you'll either need broadband or a friend with a fast connection and a CD burner.

I have everything downloaded now and all i need is Egosoft online store to be "ONLINE" :D so i can order german version of X Gold.
Man - i never had to wait thet long to oredr something :twisted:

Wow, prices for X Gold on Ebay are skyrocketing. We're talking $70 and upwards. Insane. If I can't find an english version at a decent price on ebay, I'll just wait for the german version to be available and then mod it to english. Thanks for help.
