Hello everybody,
on the whole, the update is quite successful. The details with the small windows in communication have also become beautiful.

However, the negative is:The admin center can only be bought again from level 20. I think that's very bad. For example if I Gestu Fune wants to take over only if I declare war on the ANT, which I don't want. So far I have been able to claim this sector for myself relatively early and then ANT has not built any more Stations. Now I can only do that when I have level 20. By the time I get there, ANT has the sector to itself. I don't think that's good at all.

Super negative: I can no longer use my marines as a service team after boarding. I can no longer move the bar in the crew information. Maybe I haven't found the "new" option yet. But that is very bad.

MEGA NEGATIVE: After boarding, I can only transfer the Marines to my ship individually via the Comm. The whole group doesn't work again. It doesn't work that way. If you need another 1 hour after boarding until the marines are transferred again. Even if I dock at the shipyard, I can only transfer the marines one by one. THIS DOES NOT WORK THIS WAY

You are aware of the crew transfer feature, right?



It can be used to bulk transfer all kind of crew from one ship to another.

How can i do this? I only see the Service Crew but no Marines. I try something but i had no success

While being on the map, you select the first ship and right click on the second ship - in the context menu you choose "crew transfer" (don't know the correct wording as I'm using the german language for my game). Then the pop-up appears which let you choose to transfer the crew shown in my screenshot.

The same UI should also be available if you use that function while docked on one of your stations. But don't quote me on that one - I just remember it being used in more places then just the map interface.

I found the menu. But as I said. I can only transfer my service crew, but not marines. They are not even shown in the menu. I haven't found a button or button to toggle between service crew and marines. Therefore, I have to signal them all individually and reassign them to my ship. Do this when you need to transfer 90 marines. You sit there forever.

Question to everyone here in the forum, how do I transfer a group of 90 marines at once ???

I can't turn my marinea into temporary service crew anymore??? I been deployed overseas since july and won't get back till march.... so if this changed before i might have missed it. ****** internet on a navy ship sadly.

I'd hate to not be able to co-op my marines as service crew until i can get the capped ship back to a friendly shipyard.

That goes for buying, but what about stealing the blueprint via EMP/data leak? That should still be possible regardless of level, right?

I think that was already the case... i just liked not having to do an extra crew xfer. I would cap the ship, then swap marinea to service crew, xfer repair drones over, and then escort it back to a shipyard. Just before it docked, i would transfer my marines back to their launch ship, and have the cap'd ship pull in, get repairs, and hire a new crew. Now ill have to ferry around a service crew too?

I'd be much happier if they just capped marines(of say 1 boarding star or better) at 1 or 2 stars for engineering. That way you can still use em for basic maintenance crews, without having to ferry around multiple groups of people. That's gonna make the capping process much more annoying i feel.

Any way you look at it, it's about the same number of clicks... the only "difference" is that it would be a nice idea (for those that love and embrace caping) to have a "special" crew ship to transfer from so they won't be searching...

Tried the beta, the vol fog, i cant tell if its working as i look at stuff then turn it on then off but looks the same. Am i missing something? Looked when in multiple sectors.

It makes sense that when turning it off and on you have to exit and reload for these changes (the way the graphic adapter behaves)...

The fact is that it does happen and a lot of "trigger happy" people are preparing to "clear" whole sectors with this feature (it is repeatable and clears any installation there is on where it lands)
