Mining and Trading for stations

So I've been playing around and looking into things, and I think I know what the problem is but I dont know how to fix it.
The station isn't producing any buy or sell orders so thats why no one is doing anything when I assign them to the station. Ideas on how to fix this or things to check on?

This could also be my problem too. I had a couple of traders not doing anything for the station.

Anyone know how to create a buy/sell order???

You can't for your own station. I ended up biting the bullet and building a new station in another place. Was able to get a manager into it without it bugging and everything is working for me now.
My old station is still there without a manager as I can't fire the manager that is there but isn't, Ghost manager I have taken to calling it.

I had that issue on my one save which eventually corrupted and had to start over. Backup your save. Anyways there is a mod now that lets you delete stations. Might even work on the PHQ. Here's the link to the mod.

I found that if you remove them from the factory and set the traders to autotrade it works better. Not perfect but as a workaround.
In my case I have a silicon wafer plant in Grand Exchange. The mine for station command has worked fine but trade for station only made the traders park in empty space. So I set them to autotrade silicon wafers, set max jumps to buy to 0 and max jumps to sell to 15 or whatever you prefer. Make sure the ship is in the system where your factory is first.
I also checked restrict faction trade and automatic price in logics of factory. Now my traders seem to work as intended.

Sorry! I spoke too soon. The traders stopped buying my wafers after a while and now they refuse to come near my station.
Going to try something else. I will not give up!
