Space Dust

I have created a mini-mod which folk may or may not be interested in. There is currently no 'space dust' in any of the LU sectors and the new mod below simply re-enables it.
Please use the OP on the thread above for comments & feedback and not the main LU thread or this one.

For Shimrod's Smart Turrets 4.7.2 there is also a LU fix mentioned and found working. Is there a chance that this script will be added to the list in this thread?

I will need to check the script and the fixes to verify everything is copacetic. Then a properly patched version of the plugin would need to be made available (or a change request made for LU itself.)

I have updated the IEX compatibility patch for Litcube's Universe to reflect the latest changes in version 1.5.2 ...

LUV (1.5.2)
  • A small 'fake' patch is required to experience IEX with the latest version of Litcube's Universe (LUV 1.5.2), this is called LUi and can be found here or here.

    Unpack the zip file and then order the cat/dat files as follows:

    For LUV (AP only) in the 'addon' folder... A new gamestart is recommended. Please let me know of any issues and/or any other feedback on the main IEX thread (ie. not this one please).
This new release contains the following fix to reflect LU 1.5.2 :
  • Omicron Channel SPPs required primary resources (map change)

It's not exactly a mod, but I think X3 map by Scorp may be added to this glorious list.
This app is immensely useful and works seemlessly with LU and any LU mod including remap. 8)

Hmm, maybe. It's a general/universal tool without any specific compatibility issues. It is definitely nice. I used when I was helping vukica with his LU Remap mod. I guess I could throw it into an Other/Tools type category.

Heh, sorry. Real life commitments struck a critical blow. I'm hoping things will settle down in a month or so.

Hi there,

i already started to inquire about compatibility on the other side of the mod, but considering its' age i suppose there is little hope for the SpacelootTransporter to work in Litcube's Universe, or is there?

Has anybody tested it so far or is there an alternative function in LU already implemented? I checked the Features Section on the Wiki and could find a match.

The general rule of thumb is that if it's not made specifically for LU then it's most likely incompatible.

With that said, the transporter + special command software combo is probably the closest thing you'll get to the mod you linked to. For remote pickup (in sector) you have the Reaper Shuttle, which can be called in via hotkey and will proceed to clean up everything and then return home. If combined with Joubarbe's Satellite Monitoring mod you can send the Reaper Shuttle to sectors other than the one you're currently in as well.
