Maybe i have nice idea for your mod:
When I switch to the "sell menue" i'd like to only see the wares that are onboard of the selected ship.

This is an interesting idea. However it would remove the possibility to easily see what else you could sell with the selected ship to plan trade runs if your cargo hold is only partially filled or if you have a multi purpose cargo hold. Another idea would be to have a second button somewhere which can be used to switch the sell list between only wares onboard the ship and all wares fitting the cargo type.

Hey everyone,

I have added a new filter option in version v1.04. When you click the ship type filter button a second time it will filter the trades according to the wares on board of the selected ship. Allowing you to easily filter the wares currently bought by stations to what you have available on your ships. The shopping list of the selected ship is also taken into account. If you order a ship to buy a ware it will be considered while filtering even if the ship has not completed the deal yet.

Thanks to oliverjanda for suggesting this. Great idea!

Enjoy!

Wow! Thanks!
Would you mind putting it into the steam workshop (for convenience)?

You are a mind reader. Making it available via the steam workshop is still on my todo list. :)

However, I have not managed to read the Workshop Guide yet. Let's see if I can find some free time during the next days to read it.

All you need todo is to start the workshop tool and

Code: Select all

WorkshopTool publish -path "..\X Rebirth\extensions\my first mod" -preview "..\X Rebirth\extensions\my first mod\preview.jpg" -buildcat
Adjust the paths and make preview pic.

Thanks for the mod, a simple but efficiency way to clean the trading windows. :)

As somebody else I'm also interested if you are able to add some filter for Galaxy/sector...
I often use the search field but it's not "cumulative", so we can put Omi Bofu to filter all trade of Bofu in Omicron Lyrae.
Or I miss something but I don't think.

Bye

Hi,

I just uploaded a fixed version of the mod (v1.05) which is compatible to patch 4.00 beta 4. The new version has NOT been uploaded to the Steam Workshop yet as I would like to make sure that the new version is running fine and that there are no more issues with the latest patch before updating the mod on Steam. So for the moment you will have to live with the good old way of manually installing the mod.

Trade Menu Cargo Hold Filter (v1.05)

Thanks w.evans for reporting the issues with the latest beta!

If anybody should discover any other issues with the latest patch please let me know.

I'm sorry. It's my fault. I used the old version of the mod. I downloaded the latest version, the mod works. :D
