[BUG 2.10] Station expansions state complete, but don't

Yea my issue is the resource-request looping I was worried with lots of stations that this would be a never ending nightmare to control. I only have two stations now and it's happened. I have 3 saves one before the station has received the wares to build one save at 80% building complete on the steel production line and one that has bugged and I have a marine officer (with 5 stars in all stats but moral). I have played the first two saves till the station finishes and they do go into the resource request loop if either finishes.

Have you noticed its always the same ware? For me its Plasma Pumps or Fusion generators. I'm trying to expand 7 stations now at the same time.

Since todays patch if I delete the above line in my earlier post it now crashes the game.

I'm noticing a pattern here. as soon as I get 1 extend on a station completed one of my other stations gets the missing Fusion reactors delivered.

I'm wondering if its the game AI limiting me to 1 station upgrade at a time.

If I modify the save file like i said earlier I get all of them to upgrade but only to a point, they always seem to need more EC's RMP"s and Fusion reactors. If I let the AI deliver the FR's per station then it does the complete extension.

All forcing the save file seems to do is burn up my supplies... :evil:

I have only 1 station (first by plot) and still cannot expand without looping after 2.1 patch. We'll hope Egosoft is going to address this issue in a new 2.2 patch...

Does someone have a savegame where this issue can be eproduced easyly? A small "how to bug" would be great, too :)

I have many. just run the game and you'll see stations where you cant deliver Fusion reactors to. They a are needed but cant be selected on the trade menu

Where do I send the file?

For me it was stage 2 of refined metals plant on the plot station, sorry save no longer available. I had to build it 3 times over before it flagged as complete. Visually, the connector between the new section and the main station was missing and would rebuild each repeat of the construction.

Okay, sounds reasonably reproduceable. A savegame can be zipped and uploaded to any file host page (mediafire, google drive/dropbox) we will gram the file then.

Let's hold off for a couple more hours. All of a sudden all my stations are upgrading on their own one after another.

I still have a med station that hasn't done anything in 6 hours game time. Maybe something from the latest patch just took a while to correct itself...

Tried 2.20. The same problem.

How to share items with you via dropbox and google drive? I have both.

With Dropbox, compress the file(s) as a .zip or something, and put that in your "public" folder. Then you should be able to right click it -> copy public link. Then just paste that here. Think it's broadly the same with Google Drive, too.

Ok everything is now working flawlessly for me. I have 8 stations upgrading at once without any issues :)

I can still give you Old save files when there was a problem if you need them still.

My thinking was that it was holding up my station because it wasn't being delivered. There are a lot of K9's of Xenon running around and the freighter for the NPC AI might of gotten popped.

Since I had multiple stations that weren't progressing I deleted a few of them.

If you search this ID [0x6924] in your save file, it should list the Architect that the station correlates to. Just to double check if its the one you want to delete.

But understand this is all guess work. I'm no programmer...

Save 9 is just before the station finishes building. The other two are both after when the architect is asking for wares to build the section that is finished.

Could not find the same thing... I have 3 ware looping: Energy cells, Reinforced Metal and Fusion Reactor.

Upd.

Found the whole build section in save file. Deleted everything starting from <build> to </build>.
Looks like it worked. The looping wares disappeared and the module is fully build, so I can proceed to the next module. Building the next module had no problem! hooray!
