That was the first thing I renamed after finding out that I can rename ships.
It´s called Pride of Albion now. As it should have been since release.

Okay, so:
I loved how they worked on the game releasing such a long changelog only in a couple of weeks, BUT... Joystickjoystickjoystickjoystickjoystickjoystick :)

At least I would want to know where is the deadzone setting in the game files so I could try to uncat, mod it to 10% and see if this works.
I can live with pluging/unpluging the joystick while docking or having not ideal buttons mappings or uses on the joystick, the biggest issue with joystick is primarilly-primarilly-primarilly deadzones. That makes combat really hard :(

Had a go of it so far and I've noticed it's allot smoother than previous versions.
Loving the new Rename feature, it was getting REALLY confusing keeping track of all my freighters.

ALSO noticed that there was 2 Scaldis's in Darn Hot Air, one from JonFerco and the other from Ledda Industrial circling round my Hardware Factory's C.V.
Are we seeing more out of System trading?
Or is this just a quick fix solution to the Devries economy being stagnant?

Disappointed that you still can't buy Fighters from the BTO Shipyards.
I hope the next Patch will fix this, I so really want a fleet of Katana's guarding my stations. BADLY! :D

I don't see how, it would (roughly?) make it the same sale behaviour as per X-Trilogy.

The boarding of friendly ships without rep penalty is really the primary exploit that perhaps should be addressed. It seems silly to me that a ship stays friendly when your boarding crew is executing a hostile takeover. :roll:
You talking about the use of the Traitor ROV?

Does make things pretty easy, i'm hooked to using it now.

Not to poop on your parade, but there have already been numerous polls in these forums asking people's control preferences, and the overwhelming majority use kb+mouse.

Yes joystick controls may be useful for flying and shooting during combat, but imho the BASE game should be 100% accessible with a proper UI for kb+mouse. Once this is done, then joystick/controller support can be added and facilitate taking some of the controls off the kb+mouse combo. This has always worked best in the past, and lets face it most people play with their joystick on one side and the keyboard next to it, so effectively the joystick just takes the place of the mouse instead :)

Well happy!

Been waiting to name my ships for ages! :) :)

Also loads of the other fixes are really helpful as i have most of the issues listed in your fixes.

Great job with all these patches ES, really good to know you guys are working hard to get this game as good as possible!

Now if the issues with trading between my stations were fixed i'd be a really really happy bunny! :P

I thought the idea was get rid of bugs, then move off weekly patches to monthly patches focusing on adding new features ? 3 months plus and all we got is the ability to rename our ships and a poor targeting system, I am glad you all seem excited but this for me is another let down and gained very little once again .

Oh look... Everybody cries about X Rebirth, how terribly unplayable and boring that game is...

And now they add ability to rename ships, and suddenly everybody is happy!

RE is not asking for dropping KB+M, he is just asking for some love for the JS.

One improvement I noticed is that ships under Manager are now refuelling. They eliminated the "not enough fuel" thing. :)

I only have one ship in squad at time (it gets too baggy if I have more than two)... Previously (1.23 and lower patches) I found allowing the L and XL freighters to trade across galaxy caused huge pileups around the jump gates :( Some got through as they could be seen plying their wares but dozens just seemed stuck at gates :( Can't even call it as a bug officially as I have to mod to make it happen :P

Better yet, we should be able to identify zones our miners can mine, not just system. Say I only want my miners to mine in Twilight Sentinel and not wander into the zones with WEI stations. Currently, I have to refrain from scouting those zones for fear that my ships will wander there.

Great patch Egosoft. My fps is best yet and ship renaming is looong time overdue but finally here!

Overwhelming??? The only poll I've seen is just a little down the page from this thread. Check it out. It has 1/3 of the respondents currently using joysticks. The poll asks what current controller you are using, not what one you prefer. I'd wager quite a number of additional players would use a joystick if the game supported it better.

Not to poop on your parade. :P

I am one of those that would like to see joystick control, bought an X52 pro
5 days ago to use in Elite dangerous alpha and i think it would work well in Rebirth too.
