If you're really impatient, & are on Winblows, you can hack your registry.

- Added ability for missions to enable/disable war behaviour

Does this turn the entire war off? If so how do I do it?

It's a facility for mission developers, not something you can do as a player.

If you play through the new plots, you may have a opportunity to facilitate a cease fire between the Terrans and Argons. If you do choose that path, the road to peace is often a difficult one.

I've never really liked the Splt race, they always seemed a bit to gun crazy for me. However breaking news with fresh evidence from deep within the Split families could mean that a sexist back lash could destroy those close family bonds.

My sources indicate that split males have now taken to leading their women about like horses on parade. Many Split femanists are sadeling up to gallop to their sisters aid, and are just champing at the bit to corral and horse whip any Split male found to be doing this.

Great new release guys, congrats on all the hard work, shame a simple typo has given my twised sence of humour one of the best laughs I've had in ages. I look forwrd to playing.

I have thoroughly enjoyed doing these plots through Level 3 testing.
This choice is great ,because you can choose to seek peace or continue to make profits from the war.

It does not matter which side you start with.
ALL new plots and generic missions are available.

Just don't expect to complete them all in one night.
Even when using cheat scripts , it still takes time.

Now I need to find the time to play instead of test this version of AP.

Do I have to start a new game to experience some or all of the changes in the Shady Business 3.0 patch?

Just wondering because I just got my first complex off the ground in AP in the game I started last week, but I'll start all over if I have to.

No, you don't have to start a new game to experience the changes and additions of X3AP 3.0. All the new plots are available in all gamestarts (except for the Custom start of course).
