don't know about crew members, but when i tried to pick BurnIt's brains on the subject of your developement he replied simply that the purpose of the ship is entirely up to the creator. This won't stop me offering suggestions where welcome, but i agree whole-heartedly with himWQP wrote:Oh okay! There's room for a whole lot more ship types in the X2 universe! I wonder if the classes are static though? And perhaps these ships should be a totally different class (Like transports are TL and TS).
Heh, I started messing around with some crewmembers (the wouldn't make it into X2 obviously even if the ships did)
I'd put it up for download if I could get it into X2! But it doesn't look like that's going to happen! It may though, if Egosoft peeps are very nice! There definitely seems to be a lot of interest in an external ship utility.alanhardy2001 wrote:I like the idea of the tender ship, any idea if it will be available for download?.
I would love to get my hands on it, it's a gem my compliments to those who created it. I think this ship would make a great frigate or crusier.

I am using Cinema 4D R8.2. The textures are mostly Simbiont "Dark Tree" shaders - the whole backdrop is just a sky object (infinite sphere in C4D), with a single shader applied. Oh the lights are just a cell noise shader on the luminance channel (in C4D cell noise is random squares).Avis wrote:I've just watched the AVI,

The still renders just don't do this ship justice !
what Application are you using to make these btw?
