But for most folks explaining that it has two gpu built into the card proves difficult so it's easyer to say it has two gpu in sli. And actually looking at it now it is a GTX 275 for processing and GTX 250 for phisX.
The only problem I really have is that it can run out of graphics memory on grand theft auto 4. It runs crysis maxed out at 60 FPS, and 24 when things get really bad. For me this is very playable. I'm waiting for 2012 to upgrade to a hydrocopper card. Right now the cards do not come with enough memory on them to make me want to run out and buy one.
Watercooling is the practice of running water over about 1.5-2.5 K of expensive computer componets. It sometimes makes water noises which make me nervous. But that is because my pump MCP655 pump is dying after running for five years and I've got a new one in the mail on the way to me.
If you don't want to deal with watercooling get a coolermaster V12 cooler. It is AWESOME.
My brother had one. But then I switched to watercooling because my ULTRA ChillTEC did not have a bracket for my p67 motherboard and my temps were slightly better than what his V 12 could do. He got jelous and got a huge $1000 rad setup and his temps never go over 30C. I suppose he can do that because he has a really good job as an I.T. adminisrator.I'm looking forward to see what bulldozer and Ivy bridge can do. I always cheer for the red team and hope they kick green teams ass. However sandy bridge was a really good deal so I bought it when I upgraded from a duo core.
Kewlsnake the 2600K runs 8 threads. Whatever you do get the K version of the i5 or i7 so you can put a safe overclock on it. Do not go over 1.35 Vcore volts ever or you will be hurting your processor. Never go over the stock current or you WILL lose the processor.
ASUS makes the P67 Sabertooth MOBO that will automatically find the max safe overclock. I use that and am happy with leaving everything on auto and getting 4.4 ghx with a 48 mhz o.c. on my ram.
If you need a nice card to get you by untill the new family of cards arrives in 2012 a GTX 295 will make you very happy and is affordable on amazon right now. For more you can get a GTX 580. That's a very nice card. There is no sence spending a grand on a card right now when the next series is months away.
Whatever You need to run rebirth computers can be upgraded easially unlike their console counterparts! It is my wish that developers make games for the pc that really push the limits of our technology so that new and better technologies like 3d video without glasses will become mainstream over time.
