The difference in launching ports is rather interesting. No wonder I like the Panther for rapid deployment.

I didn't even realize that fighters get launched through launch tubes and dock back through landing slots. Is that what these stats mean? So something like the panther can unload 10 ships at a time, but dock back only 3 at a time?

yep that exactly what it means.

also you might want to note that the Toykyo has a tendancy to have M5 fighters fly straight into because of the ships desgin. Its not a problem for M4s and M3s because theyrs too slow

One wonders if the CODEA Bombers, which use Catapult launch instead of tubes can launch and land from the Ozias?

I suspect I'll have to test that sometime.

Let me know the results. :)

I intend to do further testing on the Ozias before I post the more detailed Carrier Stats thread that I'm currently working on (maybe half way finished). I also neglected to mention the Kha'ak Carrier and Hive Queen which I took a quick peek at. They also need to be tested because I didn't locate the hangers/launchers for them.


Edit: Things are taking longer than planned, mainly due to the Griffon imagery which took me the better part of 3 days to do (2 of the days was mainly just experimenting).
