Even if I'd known that amazon.uk had it, I wouldn't have been able to get it. They refused to send TC over the pond when I tried ordering from them back in '08.

Well, just goes to show that Amazon sucks. Ego, you get my money when I get home from work, yay, superbox for me (I've only played X3R and X3TC, very excited to see what the earlier versions and get the storyline for myself.)
Another copy Sold! 5 days before my birthday as well, which i had booked off work anyway. I dont normally look forward to birthdays anymore, i am now.
Even though i own X2/3( i borrowed XTC but i had to return it) i think that the way egosoft continues to care about its products after we have purchased them is a ray of light in an otherwise bleak "you bought it sold as seen" kind of market so i have voted with my wallet and bought it direct from you. So no middle man i hope you enjoy them Euro's Boys. So next pay check when you all go out the first sip of brew is on me.

What happens when your ion drives are fragged and your FTL drive have spun to zero?
I first started getting into X about a year and a half ago. I found X3R in a bargain bin and it looked pretty awesome. when i went looking for community i found out i was behind and there was TC out, picked that up and the graphics were much improved so i appreciated that. some time after that i got frustrated with the Plasma burst generators spam and put X3 down for a lil while. Went to pick it up again about a week ago and lost my disk. So i had to buy a new one, and i like the game so much i didnt care dropping another 10 dollars at gamestop. Now there is this fancy stuff out and i had to order it too. me buys ^_^
Any word on other (more conventional) retailers that wil include the superbox in their stock? I'd just rather pick it up at a local store once it goes gold...
That way I can sneak buy it without my wife nagging about buying a game I already own...

As far as I'm aware the Egosoft shop will ship anywhere that the postal service will go. Obviously shipping costs will be higher for sending outside Europe.

As mentioned in the OP, Australia is one of the territories where it will be on 'general release' and therefore available at retail outlets, potentially saving you shipping charges.
