Now that you think you have found the start of this problem,time to find the cause again.
Just check the friend foe settings of all you property and ships at the time the ship turns red.

By any chance, was the previous Cerberus also homebased there? It sounds like it's the Military Outpost in EF that's really mad at you, and it keeps sending ships to hunt down your assets. Is that base red to you, or have you done something to it in the past, such as steal a ship from them?

Whatever happened, you might be able to solve the problem permanently by blowing up that Military Outpost. When it respawns, you should no longer have that problem.

The settings are the same on my every ships.

I will check the Cerberus, but I'm OK with that station... I've checked the Colossus, and if I catch it at anywhere else then it stays neutral.

To steal any ship is a bit further away

So: I have a save when the Colossus is still in Elena's F. If I jump there, the Colossus stays neutral. It's destination is Red Light.

In HoL the Colossus had a meeting with one of my freighter (OOS). The Colossus is still neutral.

If it arrives to Red Light, it turns to red.

So: I will check the Cerberus, and will check what happens if I send my ships in RL to HoL for meeting with a particular Colossus...

Ps.: I will check what happens if I visit Elena's F. after the Colossus turned red.

I have two ships I've capped in RL. Till those ships exists the Colossus turns red as it arrives to RL. Even if the ships are far away, in a different sector.

If those ships meets the Colossus anywhere else the Colossus stays neutral. I have good relations with the Military base even if the Colossus is red.

The previous Cerberus is also homed to the Military base.

I can prevent the issue by selling the capped ships before the Colossus arrives to RL. After it arrives it stays red even if the ships are no longer exists.

Actually I think it's a problem with the mission helper ships. Should it be considered as a bug?

I would post it on techsupport if your TC is registered,or send it to Devs.

I think it's with the 'Very Hard' defend station missions and with the closest military base. Anybody with similar experiences?

Odd. I'll double check the the link. I am usualy pretty good at finding legal versions on youtube. Yup its the official disney one. Odd you can't see it.

on topic. Sounds like you only got forgiven for the ship you where in. HAve you tried apologising while in your space suit? Ships have their own hate/like settigns. And it may have gotten rather skewed..

After re-reading. Have you checked your relationship status with said race? How they view you I mean, not enemy foe settings.
