I got Elite just after I upgraded from a ZX Speccie 48K + to a 128K +2. I got the Elite 128K version, It rocked!

I'm 30 next year....
but my first experience of great gaming was elite on my BBC B, fortuitously the elite tape arrived in the post the same day i was quarantined due to chickenpox - bet I was the happiest kid to ever get chickenpox!!!!!
I still have the BBC B and a couple months back me and a mate got it working and loaded elite (from a tape player!!)..it was good fun but could not remember how to save and load games......doh!!
Didn't really matter by that time anyway as the wine had been flowing freely!!

i'm 43 this year and was i the only idiot to have a Sinclair programmable calculator and a 4k Tandy TRS80 !!
When C16's & C64's etc were all the rage i was running a business doing component level repairs on them !
But hey, it's reassuring to know there are older peeps playing games too
