I've got trouble...
I'm setting up a CLS Trader, got one from Herron's Nebula, rank Courier.
Then assigned the homebase, a sillicon Mine in Ore Belt.
Added the Sillicon Wafers and when trying to add a consumer, the map loads, i click on Ore Belt and it just goes back to the menu where "add Consumer" appears, without giving me the chance to choose.
Same happens if i try to add new Suppliers (Courier, 2 suppliers...)
X3TC 2.7, with the last bonus pack. Only mod installed is a radio range mod that changes the radio range to 50km, it installs as a patch, so no script conflicts i guess.
Is there anything I can do?
Thanks by the way
.
EDIT:
Sorry, Bonus Pack 4.1.00, not upgraded to 4.1.01, probably that was the problem... I've reinstalled, and I'm gonna check ^^.

Nope, thats not really working with CLS. The Commercial Agent is the solution.

Never got the option of "start commercial representation" with the bonus pack until i've installed this CAG.jlehtone wrote:Zalioth wrote:Ah great, I've just downloaded and installed that one,There is CAG in the Bonuspack. (Although the unsigned version might again be newer.)

I posted this originally here but have recieved no response. Maybe someone reading this can help?
Regarding the Global Administration of CLS pilots. I am having difficulty filtering to which pilots I send a data slot.
I have a supply network set up around the Argon Prime area. Small and medium sized complexes are fed energy, ore and silicon by a large complex in Antigone's Memorial. I have a number of Mercurys with the following name conventions:
Supply -ArgP- Energy CLS1 xx Mercury
Supply -ArgP- Ore CLS1 xx Mercury
Supply -ArgP- Silicon CLS1 xx Mercury
I have seperated the three resources into different groups of freighters as they tended to get in each others way, fill a station up with ore, then end up carrying the excess ore around for good, eventually causing the whole system to become clogged up with redundant ore... besides the point right now.
I have added another supplier of silicon into the network, a simple silicon mine in Herron's Nebula, and set a single silicon freighter to use this as a supplier, and an energy freighter to use this as a consumer. Call these E and S, for Energy and Silicon respectively. To transfer the settings from E and S to all of the energy and silicon suppliers, I should use the global administration, correct?
Having launched the global administration, when docked at a station, I select the data set from freighter E. Then select Send filter. Under the Name field, I enter the string:
Supply -ArgP- Energy
Then I can choose to send to all or send to sector colleagues. Presumably, this shouldn't matter as, given the way I have set the naming convention, it could only apply to certain freighters.
I choose the sector colleagues option anyway, and the data slot gets copied to every freighter homebased to that sector: Ore and Silicon freighters too. The same happens when I choose send to all. I have tried variations in the name filter: "Energy", "-ArgP- Energy" etc.
Does anyone have any advice on how to get the global administration working for me?
I am using CLS version 3.2.04 and the libraries version 3.4.04. X3TC v2.71

cls1 and storing some resource / product in complex
I have a complex in Herron's Nebulae which is currently producing chips, computer components and crystals. Chips and components for sale, crystals for my SPP complex in Akeela Beacon.
I am using CLS1 for delivering these crystals to Akeela, so far, so good.
Id like to add SPP to my Herron's plex (its now big enough that i can feel problems with supplying ecells from local AI sources and from my SPP plex) but i am affraid that my CLS1 transport will take all my produced crystals to Akeela, leaving Heron's at 0 crystals for some time (until crystal fabs makes new), which will halt internal SPP production.
Is there a way to tell CLS to not take all crystalls for delivery?
I understand that eventually. after my SPP plex in Akeela will be full of crystals, problem ends, but that can take long time.
Thanks for any advice.

I have a question: If a CLS1 is set to obtain a product from 2 suppliers, to which supplier does the money go to when the product is sold? If the money goes to the supplier that produced the stock that is sold then that is great. If the money always goes to the ship's homebase then one of the suppliers is going to become starved of cash and will no longer be able to obtain its raw materials.
Edit: Never mind. Studying the logs I discovered that the CLS buys the products from the other suppliers, ensuring that the money is distributed evenly.

Incoming ships report
I have some CLS1 ships supplying goods to the HQ.
I noticed yesterday that if I do a "Incoming ships report" from the HQ. The report lists the CLS1 ships flying to the HQ with goods. But the report lists the wrong goods and quantities.
Is this a known issue? It does not seem to be a problem, as the CLS1 ships are actually delerving the correct goods. It's just the report thats wrong.

You should really ask this question in the CLS1 thread, so I'll move this over there.
Have a great idea for the current or a future game? You can post it in the [L3+] Ideas forum.

I have a question regarding CLS1 pricing for internal loops.
I have not used this software since X2, and I'm a little confused with pricing for an internal model. I've set up an 8x 1mj set of factories in Antigone Mem to train up some CLS and CAG pilots whilst I do the plot. After they train I'll be Complex Cleaner-ing the complex and moving these pilots on to service the HUB and other complexes that will be less free-standing.
Anyways, the price list for the home base (supplier) is like something like:
Manual
Minimum
Average
Maximum
Consumer
If I select 'Consumer', does that mean it'll buy at the 'going rate' for the station?
If I select 'Minimum', will it be able to buy at this price no matter what, or will it wait till the price is actually minimum? Most of the stations will be open to selling to the public to handle the overflow, so I'd like to have some kind of profit insulation.
Thanks.

Manual = you set this price at anything you want, 0 (zero) is useful to for a no-money transaction.
Minimum = the lowest price a product can be set at (check your station prices and move it down to see what that is)
Average = the Average price everywhere.
Maximum = the highest price possible
Consumer = the set price at the station where the deal is being done

jumpdrive
I mentioned this in another post elsewhere but it seems appropriate to add it here. I have several CLS ships all set to use their jumpdrive in the internal logistics menu and again at the command console with a minimum jump of 1 and to auto collect enough energy for 100 jumps,
the ships aren't jumping i can see them on the universe map traversing 5 sectors which so far has been ok but i'm going to add consumers with much hostile space between them and i want the ships to jump.
anyone else suffering from the same problem?

Which ranks do your pilots have? They will only use the jumpdrive if they are Cargo Messenger or higher.
