wow it reads like a novel..... a really good novel .... MORE!! ENCORE!! ENCORE!!! :D
The skunk really is a bare bones model. It doesn't even have a GPS to highlight the way. Or targeting software MK 2 to allow target selection and painting from the sector map. It lacks a Trading System Extention to show prices in the sector you are in. The lack of satellites in rebirth is also annoying to the trader/pirate looking for a mark.

Most people are more then happy when they cross 10 sectors without so much as being hailed... me I find it suspicious... especially when I get to my destination and receive priority docking clearance to a private hanger. My first thought would normally be that this was Jake's doing, but the facts that I didn't use any authentication codes, and he doesn't know what kind of ship I'm in over-rules that idea. The only other option I can think of is that it's the ships doing which makes sense, however it makes me wonder who exactly the station thinks this ship belongs too...

Releasing the controls I allow the stations computer to guide me into place, right next to a docking tube which was apparently built for at least an M6. A single button press later I'm stepping out into the tube and glancing around the hanger, watching in awe while six blast-proof hanger doors slide closed. “What the hell is this, the presidential hanger?”

Wandering down the tube a flashing keypad beside a door catches my attention. Leaning forward I quickly read the text scrolling across it's screen. “Please insert new pin-code eh... I can do that.” I smile and punch in my favourite 10 digit code. With a hiss the door opens and a soft voice informs me that my code has been saved, stepping through the door I find myself on a balcony above a empty holo-room. (Movie theatre of the future man)

Turning to my right I follow the hallway there to the holo-room's doors opening one and quietly looking around before slipping out. It's at the end of a hallway and I hear the door lock behind me, turning quickly I notice another keypad running the words “Out of Order” repeatedly across it's screen. “Well now that's convenient” I whisper to myself before punching my code back in and going in to look around.

Besides the 50-odd chairs in the place designed to make it look like a real holo-room there wasn't much to see inside, however on trying one of the alternate exits I wound up in what I swear is the presidential suite's kitchen. Automated food preparation, cooler full of drinks, everything you could want in a kitchen... Through the next door is a “Private Holo-Room” (Living room that's even advanced in the X-series :P) and through the two doors out of that is a rest-room and living quarters, featuring both the biggest shower and biggest bed I've ever seen.

Pulling out the comm that was in the back of the Eclipses seat I walk back out into the main room pulling up it's list of contacts I'm a bit surprised to find that both everyone from my old communicator, (The one lost on the ship) and the one I got after getting back to Argon Prime are already programmed in. Skimming quickly over the list, there's only one that really catches my attention right now, the only one that I didn't have programmed in to either communicator: “BS”... Black Sun.

More soon.

Cool, a plot twist.

Unfortunately because of issues while installing windows 7 I accidentally formatted my c: drive. Due to the loss of all files contained within I will have to start a new story. This one I will possibly continue to write for myself and a select few friends who like the story, based purely off of my creative instincts as a writer.

Thank you all for your understanding,

Mingan

(I will link to my new playthrough in a bit)
