Are you sure you haven't turned on script debugging?
My save files are all under 20Mb.

XPHome doesn't apparently allow access to bootcfg via a Command prompt
- though I see you can do it that way with XP Pro
running XPHome, I assume I'd have to do it directly via msconfig in the "Run" box
where, as you can see my max is currently at 2G via boot.ini
- I have already made adjustments to the boot.ini to avoid the Windows7Beta from auto-booting at start-up
- hence the FASTDETECT and NOEXECUTE=OPTIN..

- will simply adding the \3GB option be OK at the end of this line..
- I assume that starting Windows in safe-mode will enable me to restore the line, if necessary..??
PS this is just an experiment, X3:TC runs pretty much OK at the moment - but I'm always game for a new idea..
