i have Xai Jumpdrive 2.0
Burnit's Trade MK3
Station Accountant 3.5 (i had 3.0 before, but uninstalled it then installed this new one)
and BuyWareLoop 1.0

another thing, i'm not sure if its due to all the scripts i have installed, but sometimes ships set to Buy Ware for best price will just land at the homebase and set command to none.

The old version was hard to use for most players because there where no docs in the Zip file.

There was another script that did a similar job but the docs read like a maths test with programing options. Again hardly something most players would understand. The guy also refered to required library files but only listed the authers name not the library file name and as I found out this auther had several library files out. So the player was left guessing what was needed.

I think scripters need to think more like players when writing docs and giving the player options in their scripts.

In this thread http://www.egosoft.com/x2/forum/viewtopic.php?t=21313 they have a script that kills scripts based on their process ID.

Can someone think of a way to use this to kill the looping station accountant script? need to locate the ID of the script? and where it's running?

Perhaps its time for a mod that kills mods using a nice ingame menu or something :)

I thought of that and gave it a try but i can't seem to find process IDs for stations that you own. i can find them on AI owned stations but not my own ones. Is there a simple way to find out what processes are running on owned stations?

I have decided to not restart my game. the old station accountant dosen't annoy me that much or even at all. Actually personally i prefer it running automatically i the background. It would just be nice to be able to get rid of it if i needed to.

Well guys i have successfully managed to get rid of the looping station accountant script. I destroyed the station that i selected when i first started the script and now the script is no longer running. So you don't need to restart your games as long as you can remember which station (or ship) you attached the script to when you first ran it.

I think 1 lost SPP is better than having to redo hours and hours of game play.

yes... yes it is.... but oh well for me.... i wouldn't have been able to remember the station anyways.
