Anyone know of any other locations to download the Data sheets from? It looks like the location is blocked so I cant get them

My guess is the de in the address.

Nope thats not true. The S/M/L Variations are indeed only different from the pricing and the Default Equipment. But its always the same Ship. The TShips Entry for each of the Variants is the same. The Variation Stuff is done by the Game during runtime I think.

Minor typo - "Tranport class" on Ships page.

Yes I did enter the ROF, Energy, Used Energy etc. manually since there is no way to get them automated

You could aswell just use the AutoFilter in the Class Tab and only mark the Class you want to buy a ship of. This will get you exactly the same you have done manually now but in just ONE Sheet for every Class (Just change the FIlter to another Class)

EDIT: Oh I just saw what you all meant with the "Filters" not working... In Fact the Filters ARE working just fine. What does not seem to work is the Sorting. Ie. display every single Entry of the Sheet but sort them so that all Argon Ships are shown first then all ATF then all Boron etc... Even though Sorting is allowed in the Configuration for all users without entering a password. Seems to be a Bug in MS Excel

lol its just a normal Download Page... Enter the Code in the Image left from the Input field into the Input Field and click the Download Button right next to it. If it does not start the Download reload the Page which should generate another Code. If it still doesnt work try another Browser.

Also note that in Captchas 0 often looks like an O aswell as 1 often looks like an l (lowercase L)

I was not able to find a ships list in English nor one in German. I did copy your screenshot of the lasers which is very helpful. Any help on getting a list of X3 TC ships preferably in English would be very appreciated.

For example, the Nova Prototype is listed as for sale in Legends Home in your sheet but it's not for sale there....

Anyone able to save this as a 2003 or earlier version Excel file? Some of us can't afford to spend a couple hundred bucks every other year to get the newest reacharound from Uncle Billy, especially when it really offers very little of actual benefit...

Of course I have no idea what that means. Do I have to register on that site? If so, how can I do so when I can't understand a word on it?

I believe that means you entered the incorrect spamfilter code. The little image isn't in german, type it into the box provided.

@Phyxion - You can open it using the latest version of Excel Viewer.

Uhm Screenshots? Download the Excel File and open it. It contains quite a lot of Sheets so you might need to use the Arrow Buttons at the bottom left corner of MS Excel to scroll through the available Sheets. The Ship Sheet is quite at the end.

As Sandalpocalypse aslready mentioned you can download the MS Excel Viewer for free at the Microsoft Homepage. This can open the File aswell.

No you do not need to register. The Download is free for everyone.
What the Message told you is that you did not enter the Code or entered it wrong from the Image left of the Download Button into the Input Field between the Image and the Download Button.
You just need to type the Letters / Numbers from the Image into the Field and then press Download Button and it should work.

Well, yes, but that won't let me save it into a usable format for editing, will it? I like to be able to tinker by adding new columns (like cargo space * max velocity, etc) for testing stuff. I'm only asking because I already have Excel 2003 - does this sheet use any of the Excel features that aren't present in 03?

You can also download the file converter from Microsoft ( http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/produ ... 61033.aspx ).

This will convert Office 2007 documents into a readable format for Office 2003 (also works for Office XP and 2000). This also should allow you to edit it just like you would a regular Office 2003 document.

My problem is that I can't find these Excel spreadsheets to download. The only download I was able to find leads to German language sites. Please show me where to "click" so I can get this info!

Ok so here we got a Nice and (hopefully) easy to understand for everyone on how to download the File:

1. Click the Image Link below.
2. Click the Download Link provided in the Original Post
3. You should have the same View as in the Picture.
4. Just do what the Picture says

5. Enjoy

so i've downloaded your file , i have excel , downloaded excel viewer 2003 , and still... i get nothing but jibberish in the excel , and the viewer won't even open it ?? I must ask (because i wonder) how do i open and view your file ... an RAR File ??
