I'm so glad to hear that. How could we possibly beat this guy, right?BurnIt! wrote:No, we don't want to go into competition with sites such as xscripting.com or the xai corporation for that matter - great stuff there - but we have planned this from the beginning and still plan to make our plans come true

OK, get serious. I personally don't like competition. My making script is purely because I would like to create more fun in my favorite game. And joining Xai Corp. is because I realize that team work can make my good dream even better. We want so much from this game, and it does have all that potential in it. One person or one group can never be able to cover every aspects of it.
So, I dare to propose the following to all that are interested:
1) Create theads in this section, exchanging info on the big plans of your scripting.
2) We work on our plans independently, but by the exchange of info, we may avoid major overlaps between projects. So our similar projects may sever more like complementarities to one another, than duplications of one another.
3) All non-scripters can take good parts in it by providing ideas, making suggestions, beta testing and more. This could happen not only after the script is finished, but before and during development. (Like the incoming message suggestion on Jumpdrive command)
As the more time a scripter spent on scripting, the lesser he/she could spend on actual playing. So non-scripters can provide much more insight on the game play.
In this way, it is possible that we can distribute our efforts more efficiently, and cover much more grounds. Then, well, it's almost a cliche but, I do believe our X-Universe could be a better place than ever.
Of course there's risks that somebody may steal your idea before your release. To those who would do this, I say SHAME ON YOU. To those who may suffer from this, I say, come on guys, you see your idea is so good that others cannot resist the temptation to steal it... be pround of yourself.

Ok, ok, I will shut up, for now.
