This news is on the News and appears right on the site homepage, near the top. It will remain on the homepage for a matter of months if the current rate of news articles doesn't change radically.

I look at stickies as they are always there at the top. maybe new stickies should have new colours or a notification that this is a new sticky and worthy of your attention.

I dont check Sticky because it's same all time, it's better to post normal way to get people look at, I wish I buy it here in usa, even I have 2.0 and old one first come out. Oh well.

new stickies? what for? I think people who look at the news section on the Egosoft’s main page will clearly see the news update :)
and as mentioned before it's not likely to be bumped down anytime soon

I might try to buy it online eventually, from UK... depending on the shipping cost :)

resinstalling my 5-CD 1.4 version and getting it to 2.0 with Bonus Pack would be a bit of a pain

Which is why I, also being in the USA, preordered my version 1.0 from Egosoft and thus got the Deepsilver DVD version. Might do the same for the new GOTY just get all the updates in one package, and for all those extra little goodies. :D

As far as I know the Egosoft shop always ships the European version of the game, probably because it is based in Europe!

I had looked all over as well. So I could finally play X3. I was not going to get it IF/until a SAFE version that would not risk ANY install of malware, aka $tar**** was available .

Look for the V.2 DVD at EBGames outlets. It is the only large retail store I could find it at in my entire surrounding area. BTW They kept it in the back, so ask for it. I only knew because of their website.

For those stateside that may wanna get there hands on this, I suggest giving gogamer.com a jingle... they have always been quite reliable with the overseas stuff, shipping is quite resonable; and customer support is very good. They had my UFO:Aftershock to me... maybe 2 days after it was released in the UK, which was most excellent... considering it didnt come out here.

the mission director will be planned for the next game or expansion, it wont be an Addon.

ego have already said that 2.0.02 is the last patch to be released

hmmm.....took cdgalaxis one year to bring X3 into Hungary. Should I wait until they bring this to (if they bring it), or buy it on Egoshop? Ahhh....I don't know :evil:
