Suit's me just fine. Trouble is I can't get the damn thing to install, it just stop's at about 30% and stay's at downloading a file 48% then finally crashes.

As for me I've started my own pirate corp. I've been pirating for a long time but I've never tried being the boss before so it's very new and fun.

If you're happy with that idea, then go for it. I personally think it's a great game and reinstalled it too.

Just trying to convince myself that at £10 per month, i really wish to play the game again That or install X3/X2 (whichever floats my boat more) and try again there.

As for installer, i'd try downloading again and trying once more. Also worth checking you've got enough free space for it too - I think it only needs 1.5Gb overall.

I'm happy to see ASCN go, though I could care less what happens to BoB at the moment. Can't see any major wars that would effect them in the near future, besides maybe -A- deciding they want to shoot at BoB, or BoB going to clean up the REDswarm.

Oh well, I could care less what goes on in 0.0 at the moment. Got a new corp with plenty of active wars and plenty of people to shoot at. I'm happy

ANZA are now a PvP corp, YAY! Finaly, i was getting sick of carebearing. I think ANZA are going to help BoB in the comming war, quite a few ex-anzas are now in evolution, including our ex-ceo, hence our friendship with BoB.

I remember when I was a guest of ASCN a few months ago. They all seemed like good folks and fun to be with.

I was kind of hoping that BOB and ASCN would grind each other to nothingness, leaving their areas ripe for conquest by other alliances. Alas, it was a war with a clear victor.

- Do I have to extend or sign up (after the 14 day trial)? (I extended with Pay by Cash).
- I didn't get an option to pay for 1 year.

When your 14day triall runs out you pay to reactivate it and to have 30days of game play. Im sure there was an option to pay for 1year but it might not have been pay by cash.

I payed through online bank transfer and took 4days to go through

It is about bloody time they declared war, i hope bob are wiped from fountain (and i also hope none of my alliance mates read this ). AAA have begun attacks from the south, although i do not think they have declared war against BoB as of yet.

On saturday the Southern Cross Alliance was joined by forces from BoB to attack some AAA before moving up to stain to bust a gate camp (i was stuck in enemy territory for 3 hours before we had a fleet together to bust the gate camp), after we busted the camp, they fled to their home station and hid. All in all 30 odd enemy ships from various factions were destroyed. A good day.

Oh and if anyone manages to get hold of the corpse of 3ungle and Father Calistas from Anti-podien inc, please bring it to hisoufad and contract it to me for a fair sum of ISK. I belive they are currently in fountain fighting BoB, although sometimes in large engagements friendly fire does happen due to lag.

Allegations of Dev Misconduct!

Allegations of Dev Misconduct involving the Alliance Band Of Brothers surficed last night. These include details of BOB getting free tech 2 BPOS and other items due to possible mistakes and mabye cheating by CCP devs. Massive amounts of proof has been raised to finally bring this out into the open, and CCP have no choice but to investigate the matter. This is their comments:

CCP is aware there are members of the community concerned over allegations of Dev misconduct coming from a third party message board and those community members are intent upon getting 'their story out to the people'. CCP has investigated, and will continue to investigate allegations of misconduct and take actions accordingly. This instance is no different from past investigations that have resulted in actions ranging from permanent game bans to termination of employment.

Continuing to post information from third party sites, spamming the forums, breaking the forum rules, etc. will not speed along the investigative process.

In light of this, Band Of Brothers have been reported to have Delayed their current invasion of the north, keeping only 2 corps in the regions and maintaining standard fleet and gang engagements while not involving POS trench warfare. Mercenary Coalition will continue their contract as planned.

There is always massive interest in the larger alliances, possiably being given "assistance", however this is the first time any possiable proff has been offer. Band of Brothers have yet to comment offically, however they have taken part in massive, unchecked flaming of the CCP topic where they announced the investigation. Clearly this is quite a problem for them, as it would for anyone.

There are many ways this could end out, and given some of the "proof" provided on the recent "Secrets Emporium" (link below) website, setup with a massive spy network, it is perfectly possible, if this information is correct, that punishments will be handed out and bans given to many high profile BOB directors. The current short version seems that BOB benfited from tech2 BPOs and other equipment left over by CCP devs when they left the alliances for otherwise "unknown reasons", however this often occered when they was hired by CCP.

However this works out, it has gotten the whole of alliance warfare eve shaken. Never before has there been such a flood on information on such a scale that forced CCP to investigate.

Ingame news, IRON and the northen allies continue to hold the 2 bob corps that attacked the region at bay. BOB have mainly resorts to small fast moving fleets, trying to avoid any direct engagements with IRON. Some success is reported in countering this. Continued fighting in fountain and other regions continue to apply more pressure on Band Of Brothers and their allies. Fighting in Ex-ASCN space is now taking place as the now powerful alliance Against All Authorities is attacking newly placed guest corps, including RISE Alliance, which recently folded to BOB without a fight.

Continuing in Southen News, in a battle with RED Alliance and Goonswarm, the Lotka Voterra Alliance lost 16 dreads and 1 carrier, total losses amounting to 22 billion ISK not including insurance and fittings. Heavy fighting contiunes, with -LV- just holding the field with over 70 POS's in the system. Trench warfare looks unlikey to end there for some time.

It's a pity that the majority of ASCN members just gave up and couldnt be bothered fighting, there would have been a literal battle of the titans, followed by a crumbling of both alliances and their space coming up for grabs.
