Have no fear Badger! The Bonus pack allows the game to be played without the disc, so you can resume play.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but 3.1.05 sure looks like having the old 1.16b version of Manager, just like 3.1.04. Yes, AalaarDB did fix things, but I fear the fixes did not make it into 3.1.05.

correct. It's not in this BP.
I've not been able to get the new version to work correctly and no one else has reported the new version working correctly either.
I don't suppose theres any way to remove the bonus pack without causing corruption is there? It seemed good but a few of the scripts don't work properly and the others arn't useful to me. The after burner is cool but that makes the game awfully unbalanced. Out of interest, if I re-installed X3 and maybe on another computer and used my current saves (with the bonus pack) without the bonus pack installed, would this cause a problem? I have earlier saves but i've accomplished to much since the bonus pack has been installed.. Havn't tried this newer version though. Dock ware manager seems an important addition.
Also I have technical problems since the installation of the bonus pack and patch (patch installed first). After a while it seems to crash down to windows and asks me for an error report? I would assume this is more to do with the new patch. Can anybody in the know help me out here please...
Daedra wrote:Egosoft, your game has a lot of bugs!!When they will be fixed?!
Bonus Pack bugs are NOT Egosoft Bugs. The scrips in the Bonus Pack are Player made.
So please, stop trying to blame Ego for scripts they didn't make. Let alone a known issue (see afterburner thread) that was being fixed in this release.
I dont blame Egosoft, I just want to make X3 better.I know, that the scripsts in bonus pack are player made, but they signed by Egosoft!
ES signing them does not mean they are bug free. If X2 was any indication, this is normal.
Scripting is not an exact science. Sometimes things happen you hadn't planed for, and don't know will happen until they do. Then, its just a matter of finding the flaw, and fixing it.
Fixing script bugs, is not always as easy as most people think. Some script commands may not behave the way you think they will. And complicated scripts tend to be a detriment to hair growth.
Hiya!
Just got X3: Reunion 2.0 w/Bala Gi's Research Missions for Xmas and I updated to v2.0.0.2.
Been waiting what seems like forever to play it! Anyways, I'm just coming back into the X-universe and am out of the loop now when it comes to X3.
Are any of these BP items already included in what I have?
I'm afraid of installing it if its already in there.
Thanks!
**EDIT**- I just found the post to answer my question. The answer is no. This BP is for v2.0.x.

/sigh
Incidentally, he loves the game.
Woah! I gotta say it! People like YOU are the very reason programmers go to work each day!!
Most people would just install the game and take advantage of the No-CD feature included in the 2.0 update! By all means! By another copy! Let's do our part to keep companies like Ego in business!
(I myself bought 3 more copies to give to my nephews... helps keep the buggers off MY system and on their own!)
