Guess this one. It was one of my favourites. Of course it has been enhanced a little bit.
If you study the elite source code one will see how some of it is very similar to X-BTF.
Can I safely say that if it wasnt for games like elite we wouldnt have X-BTF and X-tension?
Elite... Is No 1V coming soon?

Ahh, the joys of elite.
My first computer was a Commodor Vic 20 with a missivly big 16K expansion pack. Although later I found in the operating system a bug to double that amount of memory.
Anyway, I first playied elite on my trusty BBC Model B, mmmm Joy.
My first PC was a Opus PC2 8088 processor running at 4.77/8Mhz, played elite and elite 2 on that.
Got First Encounter, now that was a dissapointment with bug, even after it was patched. Damn sham
Final thought : Gimme X2, Do'h
