it is pretty much finished just getting a little help from cycrow via pm

it will search the EQ dock for the amount of ware and add more if it is too low

because it sells e-cells the minimum stock is quite high so for most products it will be like it has a never ending supply adding more and more even if you have only bought one

tried out your shipyard and weapons dealer script, which worked ok. Just one question though..does the weapon dealer sell the weapons for the Terran ships that are available in the shipyard listed as unknown ships.

new version will include all missiles known as "unkown objects"

and both Terran lasers which will both be known as "unkown objects"

Ok, I will try that when arrived to my home tonite. One question when I re-run the script do I have to save the game and restart again?
It worked Stevio: The shpyard appears. I dock in to see if their is any problem. Thanks... :D Also does the shipyard and weapon dealer sell their wares and ships to the npc?

yes

i noticed it last night as i was working on the "weapons dealer script"

an "Argon weapons dealer falcon" landed and bought some missiles and shields.

but it does not produce anymore so the dock goes out of stock this is the reason i am working on the new version, i am trying to get it to refill the dock with products every second.

That,s good because we can use the weapon dealer as for selling our pruducts :D

ah thats what i thought keep the old dock to sell your weapons complex produce.

cause the new dock will have a script that adds 1 unit of each ware every second until each slot is full

a never-ending supply




P.s -> it would make more sense if we talked about the Shipyard script in this thread.

please post comments in the corresponding threads

"Combat fabs" & "Shipyard" are in the index sticky "Weapons Dealer" will be soon

- added setup script so the Shipyard is placed automatically when you load

(just like the weapons dealer script)

not sure if its me or not, as I just got started with X3, and I really like all that this community has to offer the game ...But I noticed that your shipyard is not stocking the 'L' class ships.... you know how each ship has 'S', 'M', and 'L', well the 'L' is always empty... not a real big deal, as I can just goto the weapon factory and upgrade the ships... but, since they where in the list, thought it should have the shis there also.... if not, maybe they could be removed, to shorten the list a little.....

but, thanks for a great script, keeps me from having to jump all over the universe to get one ship set up....

it does stock S, M, and L Size ships. but like all the other shipyards, Which versions are available is very random.

at the moment it is something that i have no control over.

unless any scripters have any ideas on how to keep all ship sizes stocked.

it is a the moment a dream, that will never come true.

Have been using the Stevio Weapons Fabs script, which I like very much. But want to add the Ship & Weapons Dealer scripts...so I've got to destroy the existing wpn fab in CBSW with the cheat 'destroy target' command, save, then reload to use all 3 scripts??

Edit: sorry, figured out thre's a different Stevio structure behind N, S, E gate..

I'm a big fan of the shipyard, weapon dealer, and combat fab scripts and was wondering if it would be possible to make a script that offers all the ships in game but divides them up around the universe, specifically with regards to pirate , xenon and yaki ships etc that areny available in any other shipyards. Farnhams legend could be a good spot for a pirate shipyard, ocracokes storm for a yaki shipyard. I'm hopeless at scripting myself so dont Know whether it can be done.

yes it can and will be done

the next version will include a shipyard for each race incl. xenon, kha'ak, yaki, and pirates (they won't let you dock :roll: but hey)

i am going to get rid of kha'ak clusters from the shipyards, as i don't believe any one needs them. :P

any other suggestions welcome :wink:

• Shipyard should be behind North gate 10KM

if they aren't then:

»» Make sure the script editor is enabled (rename player to Thereshallbewings)

»» go into script editor scroll down to and highlight the Stevio.shipyard and press "r" and select "null" with enter and press enter again to return to Script editor.

Could it be as easy as copying the script and renaming it in the editor, thus letting you make multiple yards wherever you want them?

I'm guessing the setup script would also have to be copied/edited. I've modified one some, so it includes Ashley's XL fabs. What I'd like to do, is make two yards for each race, one with all their ships, the other with all their fabs (inc the XLs), and put them in a sector of their own.
