I shall look forward to having some or all of my queries answered during the final chapters, tho to be honest i'd have prefered to have a little more insight into the Khaak mentality and motives earlier in this story.

All this apparently mindless and malicious violence has had me wondering why for quite some time. Not that it hasn't been told excellently, the part of the Tor and Sweety characters and thier allies has indeed been told well, its just the seemingly prolonged mystery of the Khaak that has got to me. But then again, how would you go about getting that kind of information from an entire race of suicidal psycopathic killers

Moving offices today, so being at work is a complete waste of time. However the next section will complete the chapter and is nearly ready just a few hundred more words and a quick read through.

I get the feeling that the nature of the ceasation of hostilities might actually catch people out..

Very good. You were right in saying the way you chose to finish the fight would be surprising But it is a smart move to continue with the actual story. Let's hope Creed's sector can maintain life better than this one and they can actually make use of all that tech waiting there.

"once you get to it" - get used to it?
"In Creeds Gate" - you decided to call the sector by that name now?

Corrected, the last chapter should wrap up and help to be a lead in on the next story.

Yep, you caught me, the last thing I was expecting was the gates to dissapear, nice move. Now were back to being lost in space and Creeds Gate the only way to go.

How many survivors are there currently in X4 now, and is Feran one of them?

Looks like it might be a long journey home, if they can rebuild and activate one or both of those gates in there. I do wonder tho, will the Khaak be aware of these if or when they are reactivated?

I expect much of what happens once they move into Creeds Gate will be for the next story tho so i'll be looking forward to that

I can say that Feran was still in Family Nyj when the Khaak invaded, keeping a low profile..

Had a read through and made a few corrections / minor tweaks only there's no seperators between the sections as this is taken from the master copy.
