Say CJ (can I call you that?). I thought I'd bring this to your attention while you are still here. It's a link to a thread in the off-topic forum with kind words from the people who don't visit the X-universe forums much.

I can't count how many times i have visited your site, and how many with X2 plot line questions i told "Go to CJ's site, it has a walkthrough there is more like a piece of art than a walkthrough!"

How are Split to cope i the X-universe without you
All the best!!!

Wow, one of the greates fans, and one of the best fansites gone, i only hope the rest of us can carry on the work you did so well. Truly inspirational attitude towards the game, and one of the greatest X resources i have seen, you will be sorely missed!

Look after yourself mate, you are always welcome to pop your head around the metaphorical door any time you feel able!

What!?!

This is sad news indeed. I hope your health improves and you continue to have the interest for the X-universe that you've consistently shown in the past.

I myself have used your site many, many times, and I just refered someone there today.

All of us here wish you nothing but the best. You have made a huge impact on so many people here. I'm sure you can see that from these posts.

Take care and Godspeed, CJ!

You will be missed, countless people have looked upon you as the Guru of the X games. Your site was something else, everyone went there when stuck.

Get better CJ. Get a copy of X3 to while away your hours.

SAY This isn't April 1st is it? Something else you were famous for... most of us fell for your April 1st posts at one time or another.

It was/is an absolutely superb site, that's been really helpful over the years. I last visited it only a couple of days ago as it happened!

Get well soon, and thank you so much for all your hard work.

this is truly a sad day, for me you have been the face of the x-community here in Australia. with so much of the goings on of the x-series coming out of europe, i feel your site and yourself gave the aussies a presence on the forums. a voice so to speak. someone with great knowledge of the x- game`s who was always there to answer our questions and who resides within our time zone. but even more so i always felt "heres a guy who lives in the middle of bloody of whoop whoop, and look what he`s done and for people like myself and others who choose not to live in the cities where your local pc shop, is five minutes down the road and broadbands something of a wet dream.. i reckon youve done yourself proud mate.
cheers and best of luck in the future.. and if your ever over near cairns let me know ill come down from herberton ,hey whats a hundred k`s to have a drink with an icon (plus my brothers got a nice 5.5 meter half cabin and we can go fishing out on the reef), give me a bell handzon@optusnet.com.au

With leadened heart I will mourn both of our losses. A site so full of treasures and insights, and the man and legend behind it.

Like so many others, I visited your website and gleaned so many odeas, hints and tips.

It is always disheartening to hear of an illness, that whilst I knew you not other than here, of a friend, collegue and X master.

All the very best and my best with regards to the illness.

you're site was the first place I went to for mods and scripts or helpful advice while I was playing X2.

Take care

Found your site when I was looking for games that could match Privateer.
Followed your pointers to Egosoft, bought X2 and have never looked back since. You have a lot to answer for. :D

Take it easy, look after your health, and don't forget us. For we will surely never forget you. :)
