Exactly how we operate. Some of us don't sell the pilots though, we just leave them. And we sometimes keep the ship if it's in good order.

I have now bought and outfitted my QRF, and testing the entire squadron against a small pirate convoy, I am happy. I am now looking for a Khaak cluster to engage.

In other news, I got a half-hours spin in X2 this evening. Nothing was in the surrendering mood, though, so a few more nova pilots had to go to the great pizzeria in the s-... where do X-ers say they go? They're already beyond the sky. *shrug*

uh... You guys all up to date on the recent events? some of you have gotten confuzed and thought we had an M0, that is not the case, we have the 3 battleships to counter M0s and the Dreadnought (still under heavy construction) is to counter M1/M2 and fighters.

DrCBVI good suggestion about the chitterchatter thread

I have capped six novas since my last report, two yesterday and four today. My luck today was excellent, 3 of the nova's had full shields and the fourth had all weapons

I've gathered so much equipment that I don't actually use at the moment that I've replaced my old Pirate TS "Storage" with a maxed cargo dolphin named "Tiny Box".

I'm now looking to expand away from the core Argon, Boron, and Paranid territories as I'm getting bored of those areas.

i am sorry to report that this is how i have been feeling about X2 lately, like the admiral, i am still loving the UNCC experience, but i hacvent loaded up X2 in about a month now, so these forums are my main interest at the moment.
The main reason ive stopped playing is due to the restrictions present when trying to mod the game. I attempted to import a Pirate Sabre from FL into X2. I managed it, but the inability to create new ships in the TShips file, the difficulty in setting up the ship, and the general overall annoyances at trying to do something like add a new ship model mean that my attempts failed in the end. After that i kind of gave up.
I am now looking forward to 1.4 to re-kindle my love of X2, maybe then i will return to my nova capturing duties in my brand new unique ship

In other news, i wont be updating fleet listings until a couple of weeks time, as i have my A2 level Art Exam soon, and must give almost all my free time to preparing for that. However, i would ask everyone to send me their current fleets by next week, then i will trawl through all the past PMs on these and the UNCC boards and update them...

Bah. Naysayers.

You guys should see the results of 28 Mambas and a pack of Orinocos. The Mambas generally run rings around the Orinocos, although the engine trails, explosions and gunfire cause the fight to look like a coloured swirl for the few seconds it lasts... I likes my Mambas. Next purchse: twenty eight Barracudas. That will take a couple of weeks. should be able to do some capturing this afternoon.

Just for fun I did load X2 up today, buy 100 odd Discoverers and sent them off to fight the Xenon.

The fireworks were alright, thought it was more of a slideshow then a proper firefight.

Then I died when a discoverer under my control flew into me. (I being in a Discoverer myself)

As for my daily report:

I have decided on a long term goal at last, the complete and total destruction of the Khaak and Pirates. My efforts from now on will be toward those two goals. My new found Vendetta came about when the the two nova's I caught today were iced by a cluster, and some pirates.

Nope, you don't have to pay (that would just be insulting...), and nope, you don't need previous clan experience. And technically, you just did sign up...
