Hey Imp,

Is it possible that you could post some alternate download links?

I'd really like to get the AP compatible version of this mod as I want to install AP this weekend.

Even if you use a file sharing service like Megaupload or Filesonic. Anything would help.

Sorry I'm extremly angry too. I can't understand what my provider is doing. The point is I have change my agreement. They say to me this goes easy and fast, and now the site is offline since 3 days :evil:

I have no alternate link. When somebody can host my mod, then I have no problem with this. But at the last days I had a traffic between 5 and 12 Gigabyte per day.

I can't really suggest anything with regards to your page...but in terms of hosting the mod files, as I said, you might try uploading to a file hosting service like Megaupload, Fileserve or Filesonic. I think their basic services are free and your mod isn't that big, nor is it questionable material.

That's about all I can suggest... :(

Hey Imp,

Could you tell me if I need both the above Micropatches?

I'm going to be playing both TC and AP. One of them mentions AP but the other doesn't. Not quite sure what the versions refer to.

ITS_X3TC_Full_CP for V2.7 - copy in the X3TC mainfolder for X3TC

The basis-mod is to 99% compatibel to all other mods. And when not, it's not gameplay or savegame relevant. :-)

Only I know from some optical failures, but there are rare.

I assume you just rename the cat/dat files to a higher number like the rest of the mod files? Sorry...there were no English installation instructions for the micropatches.

Hello, I have been gone for awhile. I was horrified to see there was no Cockpits or Engine Sounds starting with X3 TC back in the day. I own every title except just now I have bought the Super Pack on sale from Steam for 20 USD.

They should know that it is important for some of us 50% that we have immersion in the game, not a boring flying windows spreadsheet program. I am glad to see they are getting back to the original game 'Beyond The Frontier', one main ship with a real cockpit (Ok it is a Battleship with an interior rooms). Its for artistic immersion. Rebirth.

I am so glad and happy you all have made new COCKPIT MOD that I bought the game! Only for this reason.

I can get PSCO1 Cockpit v1.32 works with save game. But I try this new one by Imp...

This new mod by Imp absolutely will work fine in game. It is just that you must start a NEW game. Old save game will crash.

ITS_X3TC+AP_CP_Basis_5

These from the German his website must be installed in that order.

The direction had me confused. I placed them exactly here for Steam users

C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\x3 terran conflict\addon

rename all three file sets to exactly 03, 04, 05 in next higher order for CAT and DAT files.

Then it works just fine. You must start a new game already!

Thanks to your efforts, I like the cockpits and will spread the word. I do not know why "egos" get in the way when paying customers are saying we want COCKPITS. I have made mistakes, I admit and correct them, and move on. I would not want to lose half of my paying costumers lay by the dry dock.

One last request, anyway to give audio ENGINE and THRUSTER SOUND back into game? Can Ego make a hot key to tie into? Can we make a small external program to give sound when TAB key is pressed?

That's not right. My mod work with all savegames from original gameversions. When you not use the FULL_CP_MOD then the mod work with 99% of all other mods.

When you have trouble to change from PSCO1 to my Mod. Please read some topics before, or have a look in my readme file, or my main thread on site 1.

The problem is that PSCO1 use his own Tship file, but it's not impossible.


Your installation guide is not the best way to install my mod. It's better to install the Basis_mod in the main gamefolder. So the mod is working with both games (X3TC + X3AP) Only the X3AP_FULL_CP_MOD must install in the addon folder.

I'm will you be making any new cockpits, I'm thinking inline with usc, love your M3 usc cockpits, could you make an alternative that doesn't have the scimitars info? pretty please...

OK. I only have Albion Prelude installed. That is why I could not install to main directory, it will crash AP stand alone version. AP was auto patched from 1.0 to 1.0b yesterday?

So my guide is true if you only have AP installed alone. I stand corrected. :oops: I do want to use FULL_CP_MOD so I understand this may make a problem. I need to install both TC and AP.
Please read some topics before, or have a look in my readme file, or my main thread on site 1.
I did read those. I am a bit rusty. I was confused. Sorry.

I did get it to work now. I can load save games too.


I understand the problem with PSCO1 version. "tships" file inside that container. I remember modding those about 5 years ago....in X3-Reunion.

Maybe you can make one basis install as soon as they are done patching up AP.

I do like you Mods. I would not play without Cockpits. :)

Can it be possible to make Engine or Thrusters audio sound when hitting TAB button :?:

I cant isntall ITS_X3TC_Full_CP_27.I have tried everithing,even reinstalled X3TC.I have X3TC v3.1 with MARS mod only,i followed the instractions and renamed the files as followings at the game main folder:
ITS_X3TC_CP_Basis_5----14
X3TC_Basispatch_52----15
ITS_X3TC_Full_CP_27----16
PSCO1_no_Info_Radar----17
but everytime i try to load the game crashes,i used the empty sector and the new game but nothing....
where to place ITS_X3TC_Full_CP_27??and what is ths Tship??
please a little help...i am trying for 2 days to get it work...

Yes this made problems and crashes. There is no way to use my Full_CP and the Mars mod.
The Tship is an important element in the game mechanics. This file contains all ships and his parameters. There are much many mods they edit this file on different points. Some mods have no conflict in this file (like my Full_CP and the Mars mod), but the game can use only one of this files. So all this mods are not compatibel. Someone crashes when you load a savegame. But that's the extrem. When you start a new game then the mods mostly can run, but the problem is existing and sneak in to your game. I wish all people they use mods schould know this.


Example what mods can do in the Tship:
- Balancing Speed, Armor, etc.
- what a weapon or missiles you can use with a ship
- adding new ships
- or which Cockpit scene you see


Simple way for compatibility-check
Install the X3-Editor. This program can view mod packs like a filetree. Important for X3TC compatibility is the "types" folder or for X3AP the addon\types folder. All the little files in this folder are gameplay relevant and can produce heavy not fixable problems in your game.
All the other not really important. Most mods really different and when some files double the problem mostly not gameplayrelevant and can fix later.

So check the files in your mods. When some of this file in the types folder are double or more then you can use only one of this mods.

is there a way to combine the MARS with your mod??
both of them are great,i prefer yours cause i dont like the empty window of Egosoft. but mars is also very useful.can i install your mod without the Full_CP_2.7 and fix the CPs myself??
