I have been using this script and think it is truely awesome. As stated in an earlier post, it's almost another game by itself. :)

I have one problem though, and maybe someone can help. The script will not allow you to move a pilot into a ship that already contains a pilot. That is good. Only, I have some ships that have pilots because I had been sending them on patrols through sectors. Now, I would like to "FIRE" those pilots, and replace them with my new cpilots.

Is there a script, or can someone tell me how to remove a pilot from a ship? Basically fire them?

I can use the script editor, but I am inexperienced with the language. I tried a simple script that used $ship -> set pilot name to null, but that doesn't seem to work. Any suggestions or help would be appreciated.

Yes, exactly the same happens to me!
Sorry for my bad english, I had it in school about 8 years ago.... (I'm from germany)
ok, back to problem: I downloaded the script together with your task force command -script two days ago, 'cause, for me, it sounds very cool and interesting. And yesterday, I first tried it... and everytime, I send my three m5 (split) to level up on the tour of duty, they disappear like the same as obove is explained!
Stop: I mad one other thing. I renamed the data in the t- folder from 44 to 49 and also opend the file and changed in the 2nd line the 44 to 49 to have it in the text- command displayed and saved everything....
I also use some other sripts (no Mods). They are:
1. the camoflauge device ST by Blacky_BPG,
2. the script- collection by Cycrow (in Germany u can download them all in one)
3. the scoutspecialsoftware MK1 by Orca (avaiable in the german scriptlist) and
4. the warelogisticsoftware by Lucike (also avaiable in the german scriptlist)
and, what should I say, all of them are running without any problems.
Perheps the pilots disappear, 'cause I've installed the 1.31 BETA- Patch.
what do u think?
Any ideas? I would be happy, if u could help a bit.

K, I'm probably just blind, but I can't find the command to get a detailed report sent to my log. Which section should it be under - combat, special?

You'll find it under 'Additional commands' or how it's named. It's further down the list on the command screen.

About the pilots vanishng, that is set to happen if my script is uninstalled. Its a safety measure so my script wont leave anything behind, all I can guess is there is something different with the German version.

Or you accidently added the setup.uninstall script from the "cpilots_fixes.zip" thats in there .... that file should NEVER be added unless your getting rid of this script and all the pilots because it will do exactly as your describing and erase all the pilots over time.

Look in your game scripts folder for a file called:
setup.uninstal.cpilots.xml

If its there delete it, then start the game load your save and re-init the script cache from the script editor menu. That should fix the problem.

re: moving pilots to ships with a pilot already in it ..... just buy an empty M5 or something and use the regular 'move pilot' command to move the pilot whos in the ship you want to use into the empty M5, that should clear the pilot data and allow you to move the combat pilot in.

Your scripts certainly sounds interesting! :)

Been trying to access the info/download page for a couple of days though, no go..

Is access to the page/site time- related/limited maybe (could be if run from home computer (?)...?

I don't know if this is connected to this skript, but it would be nice if pilots also exit if the AI is attacking each other.

Hey, u're right! In deed, the one script, u said, it doesn't has to be in the script- folder, sneaked in!
Now I removed it and now your script works fine!

Gotcha. Logs are cool :)

I decided not to use the cheat script (I cant afford much more than just m5s at the mo anyway). So I now have 2 flights training up from scratch, with another one on it's way once I capture a couple more ships :)

Love the individual pilot traits bit. 4 average, one brilliant and one tough so far. Wondering when I will get the complete numpty pilot...

Well I've really been enjoying the script I have one question or bug though. Sometimes when I transfer a pilot to a M-4 because they made rank I can't put another cpilot in the M-5 he/she left.

Have tried leaving them in Teracorps HQ but doesn't seem to do anything.

Think you're after the same thing I was... scroll down in the command console to the additional commands and get a report sent to you from there.

Thats wierd you guys having problems

I just tried both links (the taskforce and the add-on, and they both work perfectly fine for me...

It's odd yes.. maybe it's something on my end that blocks it, browser settings/firewall or something. I'll go check again and see if the problem is maybe on my end.
