When I go to the select mod package screen, it shows me a number ten and a number eleven. Now, I don't known if the Xtended mod has its own different start profiles, but mine is loading the same ones from the regular game. None of the new ships are available in the shipyards, and the ones I spawn from the script editor are labeled "Readtext(- - - - - - )". Does anyone know how to fix this? Any help would be unbelievably appreciated!

Sounds like a really bad install.
You don't need to even select a mod to load XTM anymore if you use the full install.
It sounds like you burped the install and it thinks that the cat 10 and cat 11 are separate mods.
Best bet is a new clean install.
If you reinstall X3R clean with all updates you will have Cats 1-9. The XTM full install 7.5 will then add Cats 10 and 11. It does not list XTM as a mod as the Cat 10-11 are fake patches.
If you want to add anymore scripts or ships after that, then you'll need the Plugin Manager.

Here's one turret response I found on TXU. May help or not. Refers to capped ships and not purchased but maybe worth a try.
Also reported that capped ships sometimes still think they are capped and have AI scripts running against them. Solved by some by docking at a owned station to reset to player control.

Also reports are to reset to none, then assign weapons, then assign orders.That is actually a intermittent bug in the stock ES turret script....
I've noticed this problem happening a lot in capped ships, their turret's seem to be trying to carry out their last order received, which is generally "Gank everything you see!!" aka Attack all enemies...
What you need to do is set all turret's to none & then manually reset them to what ever command you wish.. IE: attack all enemies, attack my target, protect ship, missile defense...

Yeah, I just reinstalled the game at the beggining of the week, so, I'm going to try and avoid that hellfire storm again. I have Vista, so I have to install all of the patches to get rid of starforce.
It's not a bad install of the game. The game actually works alot better than it did the first time I installed it. The 10, 11 and all of the other XTM files are in the mods folder. Is it possible to just wipe these folders clean, reset them, or delete and re-download them (The original mod folder files, of course)

Its something to do with the XTM ships. Ive tested some ships ive added into the game, the Avalon Raider and the Split Wulfen. All of their turrets work. Ive tested some more vanilla ships and they are ok. Correction from my previous post its the Split Dragon Mk III thats not working.

Sorry I don't have any other help to offer. The only thing else I found about that particular ship is this:
So if it's just that turret your seeing bad, it's designed that way.

Here's one other thread about turrets not using all slots, but still working. I'm not sure what you are seeing exactly but maybe part of the puzzle.

You forgot to mention that part of the reason the Dragon sucks so hard against fighters is that its turret can only fire forwards.

That's probably not changeable. The XTM had to do that in order to allow the new ships because the X3 game wouldn't allow them otherwise.

Shipbuilding problem
Building Busters on Levi but occassionally freezes. What causes this and how do it restart it? Please help.
Edit: Now got same problem on Aran. Seems to be something to do with having ship parts in the cargo bay. These seem to be self generatng until something disturbs the process (e.g. transferring parts to another ship) then building ceases and will not restart. Has anyone any idea what I might be doing wrong?

Bugs?! help All argon transprters missing (xtended and gaius installed)
Hello,
i have played x3 reunion several times but this time i installed the newest patch, bonus pack an xtended mod and fight command soft mk3 with gaius..
I activated gaius, other corporations and few other plugins in artificial life settings and after 20 hours of playin i found out that all my 6 transporters that i own earning to much in ever sector (doin universe trader)... yeah thats nice but problem is that all other argon transporters of any kind are missing, all argon sectors are empty except millitary ships..those are there as should be... i saw few transporters own by other races but like one or two here and there but thats all.. i do remember that there was alot of argon transporters in all argon sectors around argon prime flyin and workin during game... so this is probably a bugor somenthin

X3 Reunion & XTM Question
I am playing Reunion(2.5) with the latest Bonus Pack, can I also install the XTM mod over everything?
The installation instructions say you must have no other mods installed, is the Bonus Pack classed as a Mod?

hi all
boy do i need help, i've downloaded xtm and i'm trying to extract to a temp file. pls forgive i'm new to this, here is the error message i'm getting when trying to extract xtm:
! Cannot open C:\Documents and Settings\User\Local Settings\Temporary Internet Files\Content.IE5\C8V4UM4X\XTM.7a[1].rar
! The system cannot find the file specified.

You probably closed the browser and tried to open the file in a different session.
