Somehow Iranian rapper Toomaj managed to get released from prison (probably in an attempt to appease the Iranian population). Toomaj was previously sentenced to death for his lyrics that were openly hostile towards the Iranian government and in favor of woman‘s rights and unity among the different ethnic groups living in Iran.

Seriously though, I watched a video of someone hearing the wall for the first time and I got all nostalgic and I looked up the film and hey presto it's on YouTube, if you have never heard the album (sacrilege) or watched the film I would recommend doing so.

Discovered this one recently, a group of young kids but don't let that fool you they are actually pretty good, they have most definitely rehearsed a lot together, the girl singing has had singing training so she is not a natural, but that's also not a bad thing. The video itself has gone viral with 1.8M views in 11 days. The only thing I can say against it, they need some stage presence, but that is something that should come with time. But anyway enjoy:
