Hi one question, where the heck do I find the goldheart ingame, i've put all the files in the right places and mounted the goldheart mod, but i still can't find it ingame, i've tried to cheat it in but i can't find it anywhere, any clues?

The most important part is, that the TShips you use is updated with the goldheart.
And the second most important part is, you must start a new game for it to be updated into a savegame.

Why do you need to start a new game ? Tships changes are real time. As soon as the game picks up the new file as it starts up, anything changed is available immediately. Loading a save wont change anything.

If the ship is not available to the cheat pack, then something is wrong with the instalation.

mevko, exactly how have you installed it ? If a false patch, then what mod are you also running ? If as a mod, then do you have a tships for another reason in the types folder ?

ok i instaled it as a mod, and secound part is a bit elusive for me 'couse I have never tampered much vith those files, nov i do have some modifications of the existing ships ingame if thats relevant.

You can only have 1 ships mod active at any time, so it depends on where the ship mod is as to if its the ones used or not.

The mod overwrites the patches. files in types folder overwrites the mod.

So if you install this as the mod, but have a tships file in the types folder, then the mod will be overwritten and the ship wont appear in the game.

The only way you can have both is to add this ship to the file that has the ship modifications in it, thus merging the mods.

Just a quick note, there is a Vital Statistic missing from your first post.... Cargo Size/Capacity.

For an M0, I'd be looking for 250000/500000 myself.

I run with 200000 on my M2.

Can you make the engine sound more...M2ish? Right now it sounds kind of, well, wimpy.

Default M2's do not have engine sounds, either that or they're too soft.

The default M2 has 102 for their engine sounds.
My Goldheart is at 104 which is what the M4 uses.

And here are all the sounds used by ships found in TShips.
103 (M3) Alien
106 (TS:TP) Low humming
107 (M3) even lower humming with a little scream, like a jet engine at idle. [This is my recommendation]
109 UFO
110 (Satellite) soft humm with a little scream, and loud sine wave tone, beacon like.
114 (Khaak ships) humming Chopper...
121(spaceflies) Like Chirping Birds

You can change them through the TShips entry under model\engine sound

For all available sounds please visit sounds.pck in .03 cat. :wink:

I can also feel it through my subwoofer.

It's also nice to see that this ship isn't scraping the gates as it passes through. Unlike my damn CPU ship. :roll:

I cant help but feel, when i add this ship in and it doesn't show up in my game, that it probably has a conflict with another ship from ship rebalanced mod: continued.

Im not to sure what to do. So I would appreciate any help given to me.

I am using the following mods in order

SRM:C mod---->addon packs including the hull, and cockpit mods-----> CMOD-----> Trail Pack SRM eclusive -----> then your ship mod

So i cant help but feel there is an issue occurring with the other mods.
