Only M7 I've used is the Tiger, but I'll check out the Panther and get back to you on that one.

If it's due to a rep problem then yeah a Panther will be grand.

Panther is a carbon copy of the Tiger and is also Split, except the front weapons are Turret not main, and it has 6 not 8, but it also has a HUGE FIGHTER BAY!

It's ridiculously overpowered.

And about the rep. problem... erm well, if you've read any of the story you'll see that buying ships from the Split isn't really possible at the moment... erm... you know anywahere with good marines I can hire?

Im feeling a bit lazy today, i remember way back on Pg1 applying for a Kestral and apparently being assigned one or was going to be assigned one. I just wanted to ask, did i get a Kestral ? i just don`t remember seeing myself (Maxapollious) being mentioned

Also can i upgrade from that ship to something bigger, way bigger please, kinda like an M6 or M7/M7M or even a capitol ship.... please, please, please... pleeeeease !!

Well if it gets me fame and fortune..... fame of hitting the side of a very big ship and fortune, well the cost for you to replace the ship and/or equipment then i`ll take a fighter. Name and details still remain the same except for ship type, so `i`ll take a fighter, don`t even mind being in a wing under Omini`s command..

i haven't seen myself so reminder...
and i forgot whats to be a fighter pilot so i could start out as pilot of a M3 only condition if possible to be fullfiled the ship to be of a Human origins(argon,terran)

Just finished reading all the posts, so I shall amend my application.

Name: Omini Tel'Dethos
Race: Terran
Ship/Position Wanted: Nova Vanguard, Fleet Commander
Brief Description of Self:
Freelancer commander. Can supply his own fighter pilots or be given fighter pilots to command. Received command training by ATF but relieved from duty for being "too aggressive" (the officer who said that has trouble saying it now due to fractured jaw).

Joined the Split military in which he was given command of a M7 Tiger and 4 M3+ Medusa. Was later excused from duty at own request when felt as if he wasn't going to be given any bigger guns.

Freelancer work after, assassin for hire, protector for hire, happy to join in the fight as long as he gets paid. On some occassions can supply his own pay (ie. Gets to keep the ship once the job is complete).

Has been tempted with a bit more permanent placement. Turned down job offerings from Boron Military due to their "overly peaceful nature". However they failed to mention that they were offering a Ray with 2 Thresher escorts until it was too late.

Has somewhat recently wanted a small change of scenery. Would rather pilot a M3 along with his fleet, then perhaps at a later date upgrade to a bigger ship - however will have to see.

Please be aware, some stuff may be left out, and be confusing etc. I have so many spare ships now that the assets list is bound to be incorrect somehow. Soon I'll just take screenies of it.

Talking of screenies, they may follow soon. But please, take a look at the Assets. If youre ship isn't there, PESTER ME! And if you want one that is, feel free. Oh and we've reached a very interesting point of the game, and from now on I intend to throw all our resources at that one target!

Chapter 11: A Semblance of Integrity

I quickly called in my Hydra, and transferred some stuff, including a useful Jumpdrive, then set off, continuing to improve my infrastructure and others by building them things they needed. However I soon realised that I still needed more funds… and flying a completely wrecked TL with extremely low shielding was probably not good. The Hydra was never seen again, and none of us have worked out why!

So I invaded the Xenon. Systematically. Sector by sector, wiping them out, picking up their loot. I bought second hand ships, claimed bailed ships, stocked up on weapons, and managed to get my entire fleet to my homebase onboard the TL, whilst the Skiron and Heavy Osprey were kitted out with more shields, and purchased spares for the fleet. Soon the entire fleet so far was outfitted basically and parked up at our homebase, waiting for their first assignment.

Everything was going well. Then suddenly, I misjudged my enemies. The Xenon surrounded me with Ps, and the Ion Shard Railguns had an adverse effect on my weapon generator. With no firepower and rapidly draining shields I was forced to flee. The ship shuddered, groaned and the spat me through the warp into Eighteen Billion, missing several key upgrades, one of my shields, the odd weapon I’d picked up, and the Cargo life support, which had caused the computer to spit most of my marines out into space to save them… in the middle of Xenon sector 597. Bugger. Well, I wasn’t going to fetch them!

I defended Eighteen Billion from yet another Xenon attack, they were swarming through from 347, and the Xenon had obviously heard that I would be joining the party, because they threw everything at me. Everything. Endless Ks. A few Js. Ps and Ps and Ps. It just carried on, continually, wave after wave of demented microchips with guns. Machines designed for good, but evolved for self preservation. And they were good at it. And they’d decided the best form of defence was attack.

With the loss of more key upgrades plus the fact I had hardly any ammunition left for my Gauss Cannon, I decided it was time for a new operation.

First we would attempt ‘ARSE2 Operation Freebies’ then we would see how we stood. I had a feeling it would be followed by ‘ARSE3 Destroyer, now please!’.

I also had a feeling that I wouldn’t have the skill or marines to get myself a free Destroyer, and if I did it could be part of operation freebies.

Either way I needed more money. So I made more, along with testing out a new Shrike setup which got me a Scorpion Raider, and a normal and Vanguard variant Mamba. And a lot of money. Well, around 120M again, as people were willing to pay lots for me to get rid of the scum of the universe.

So once again I was relatively rich, and had plenty to do. I could relax, however, knowing that I had the money to achieve basically anything. Well, except a huge, full scale industrial production Corporation creating enough to say… fix so weird installation or something. Or supply the entire universe? Whatever.

The point was, no one wanted me to do that. In fact, I know only a few people who would attempt such a thing. Speaking of the devil…
